Tyson Fury’s brother and fellow professional boxer Tommy has made a bold prediction for his sibling’s crossover clash against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia tonight.

Tommy, 24, shot to fame as a reality TV star after appearing on the ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2019 and he has since shared the family spotlight in a number of high-profile bouts against YouTubers Jake Paul and KSI.

He won both fights by decision and thinks Tyson‘s got a similar challenge ahead of him as to what he faced against KSI earlier this month at the Manchester Arena.

“That’s a similar affair to what I’ve had with KSI. That’s all that is. It’s a crossover fight, it’s good for the fans. That’s it.

“Again, how can you compare Ngannou with Tyson? One of the best boxers, if not the best boxer in history, to do it against an MMA guy. You can’t compare the two.

“We all know what’s going to happen in that fight. It’s just what it is. It’s a fan-friendly fight and then he’ll move on to serious business in December.”

According to boxing betting sites, Fury is a heavy 1/20 favourite to beat his rival Francis Ngannou in the ring on Saturday. Many are expecting this to be a complete mismatch and aren’t giving the UFC legend a chance.

Ngannou is a former UFC heavyweight champion and will step into the ring for the first time as a professional in Riyadh. If you’d like to back the 37-year-old for what would be one of boxing’s greatest upsets, you can do so at a price of 8/1.
