Jude Bellingham scored two in the second half including a 92nd minute winner on his El Clasico debut to guide Real Madrid to victory against Barcelona.

Ilkay Gundogan put the hosts in front for his first Barcelona goal after six minutes, adding to his impressive record of scoring in big derbys – with goals in Der Klassiker, the Manchester derby and now El Clasico.

The last time he had scored at club level was his double against Manchester United in the FA Cup final earlier this year, but it was to no avail as England’s newest superstar rewrote the headlines in Barcelona.

Bellingham levelled the scores at 1-1 with just over 20 minutes to play, finding the top corner from long range to beat an outstretched Marc-Andre ter Stegen between the sticks and add to his impressive portfolio of goals for Madrid.

As the clock began to wind down in injury time with just two minutes to play, Bellingham latched onto Luka Modric’s flick from Dani Carvajal’s delivery to put Los Blancos in front in the most dramatic fashion.

Bellingham’s start to life in Spain has been nothing short of breathtaking. He leads La Liga with ten goals, three more than Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann in second and has taken impressively to his no. 10 role under Carlo Ancelotti.

His ten goals in the league this season is more than club legend and footballing icon Zinedine Zidane ever managed across his career at the Bernabeu.

The 20-year-old has scored 14 in 13 in all competitions so far, with the last player to achieve this feat being Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.

He’s also the first player in Real Madrid history to score on his La Liga, Champions League and El Clasico debuts – continuing to assert himself as one of the best players on the planet at such an early stage of his career.
