Tyson Fury will face Francis Ngannou this weekend, but before the fight the Gypsy King came face to face with Ukrainian boxer, Oleksandr Usyk, ahead of their rumoured bout.

The Lineal Heavyweight champion is back in action this weekend, as he takes part in his first crossover event and will face former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Francis Ngannou.

Taking place in Saudi Arabia, this fight has caught the world’s attention, as the Cameroon MMA star makes his professional boxing debut.

Ngannou’s last fight came back in January 2022, as he earned a decision victory over French heavyweight, Cyril Gane. He then left the UFC after a dispute with Dana White over a renewed contract and will now compete in the sport of boxing.

Tyson Fury has look composed in the build up, being his usual self in the final weigh in ceremony and footage has emerged of the Gypsy King coming face to face with his next opponent after Ngannou, Oleksandr Usyk.

The clip shows the two interacting both verbally, and physically, with the Ukrainian lifting Fury off of his feet and embracing with a hug.

Prior to this, Fury can be heard taunting his future opponent, saying: “Oleksandr Usyk… I choose you, get over here – come on then give me a hug!”

The two then hug one another and the height difference between them is clear to see, however, Usyk asserted his physical prowess by lifting the Gypsy King into the air.

A fight between the No.1 and No.2 ranked heavyweights has been rumoured relentlessly over recent years and recent reports suggest we will finally see it on December 23rd.

Usyk’s most recent fight took place in Poland, as he beat another British heavyweight in convincing fashion, stopping Daniel Dubois in round 9.
