Arsenal Bounce Back To Winning Ways In Europe With Hard-Fought 2-1 Victory Over Sevilla

Arsenal doubled their lead shortly after the break and it was yet another brilliant goal. This time it was Jesus who got on the scoresheet after good work down the left hand side before cutting onto his favourite right foot and curling an effort beyond the helpless Orjan Nyland.

However, the La Liga side were determined to not go out without a fight and pulled one back just a few minutes later. Nemanja Gudelj rose highest of them all to nod home a delightful Ivan Rakitic corner, setting the game up for a tense ending.

Despite their efforts and a couple of late chances, Sevilla could not find an equaliser. Diego Alonso’s side came close in the closing stages but it wasn’t enough and the Gunners were victorious.
