James Maddison has hailed Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou an “alpha male” after the side’s strong start to the season under the new boss.

Spurs started this weekend at the top of the Premier League and will return to first place two points clear if they can beat Fulham on Monday night.
Since Postecoglou joined the club in the summer, it is fair to say he has had a huge impact both on and off the pitch. The N17 faithful are already huge admirers of the Australian coach who is one win away from making the best nine-game start of any Tottenham manager ever.
The North London side remain unbeaten so far in all competitions and things have changed for the very best since Postecoglou came into the dugout.

Maddison Speaks To Media About Postecoglou
Spurs host Fulham on Monday night and summer signing Maddison has been speaking to the media about the new boss ahead of the London derby: “He’s a really good motivational speaker. He has this way about him, when he talks to a group of players, he’s almost like an alpha male.
“When he’s talking, everyone’s listening. You can’t even blink.
“The team talks he does normally the day before the game, or even the day of the game in the changing room, they get you going, they get you ready to go out and play.
“He’s demanding of you. He uses real-life stuff to compare to football.
“He relates it back to life and family. It makes you want to play, work and run for him. He’s got a natural talent.”
Maddison signed for Spurs in the summer for £40m from Leicester City, and the attacking midfielder has already had a big impact at the club whilst forming a strong partnership with Son Heung-Min.
The England international has two goals and five assists in nine games for Tottenham in all competitions.
