Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard helped Arsenal to a memorable second-half comeback at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, earning a vital point.

Chelsea took the lead through Cole Palmer’s penalty after 15 minutes, marking the youngster’s second Premier League goal from the spot since making the switch to West London.

Aged 21 years and 168 days, Palmer is the third-youngest player to score a penalty in back-to-back league appearances behind only Bukayo Saka and Peter Ndlovu according to Opta.

Arsenal conceded on the road for the first time this campaign and matters were worsened moments after the interval, thanks to Mykhaylo Mudryk’s maiden Stamford Bridge goal.

Robert Sanchez was punished for a misplaced pass which fell at the feet of Declan Rice, who made no mistake in firing home from long-range for his second goal for the club.

With under ten minutes to play, Saka’s enticing delivery was poked home at the back post by Leandro Trossard to complete the comeback and ensure Arsenal’s undefeated start remained intact.

The Belgian became the first Arsenal player to score each of his first three Premier League goals for the club as a substitute.

According to Premier League betting sites, Arsenal are joint-second favourites to win the title with Liverpool at 5/1 – some distance behind Manchester City at 8/11.

Chelsea won’t consider themselves someone with a foot in the title race at odds of 150/1, but they remain firmly in the running for a top four finish – priced at 9/2.

The result leaves Mikel Arteta’s men tied at the top of the table with his former colleague Pep Guardiola, following the Sky Blues’ 2-1 win over Brighton earlier today.

Chelsea will ultimately feel that one unforced error threw away the game, flipping the momentum in favour of the visitors and costing Mauricio Pochettino an important three points.
