SportsLens Head of News Lee Astley, said:

“Brighton are in and amongst the top six once again this season and have already claimed a huge victory over Manchester United. The Seagulls are also in European competition, which could make additions to the squad vital this January.

“Former Arsenal striker, Folarin Balogun, has been priced at 4/1 to sign for the Seagulls despite signing a permanent deal in Monaco during the summer. The American international has already contributed to three goals in his first four games this season, after an impressive loan spell at the club last season – scoring 21 goals in Ligue 1.

“An interesting player on this list, at 14/1, is Marc Cucurella, who left Brighton in 2022 for £70m as he signed for Chelsea. However, his time at Stamford Bridge has not gone according to plan and the club are keen to cut their losses – after almost agreeing a loan move with Manchester United in the summer.

“As a slight outsider at 25/1, Scott McTominay to Brighton could be a great deal for both parties. The Scottish international has failed to cement a place in the Manchester United squad and was linked with a move elsewhere all summer.”
