SportsLens Head of News Lee Astley, said: “Following a public row with Napoli, it’s no surprise to see Victor Osimhen being linked with a move away from the club. He was linked with a whole host of Europe’s elite clubs last summer, as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia, and at 5/2 he leads the market as the favourite to join Chelsea in our latest exclusive January transfer odds as they reportedly hunt for a new striker.
“Along with Osimhen, the Blues were linked to another couple of Serie A strikers in the summer in Lautaro Martinez and Dusan Vlahovic, and the pair have been priced at 10/1 and 12/1 respectively to make the switch to Stamford Bridge during the January transfer window.
“Another forward who has been tipped for a move in January is Brentford marksman Ivan Toney. The England international is currently suspended due to a gambling ban, and has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal. However, he has been priced at 6/1 to join Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
“During the summer, the Blues mostly favoured signing younger talent over more-experienced players, so this may be a trend that they’re looking to continue in January. Young strikers Santiago Gimenez (6/1), Lorran (7/1), Youssoufa Moukoko (10/1) and Evan Ferguson (16/1), may be considered as preferred attacking options to the previously mentioned experienced forwards.”
