Just two Premier League fixtures remain in gameweek seven, and the first of the two comes today (Sunday, 1st October) at 14:00, as Steve Cooper and his Nottingham Forest side welcome Brentford to the City Ground.
The pair come into the clash having enjoyed a mixed start to the league campaign, with Forest boasting one point more than today’s counterparts despite having lost more games.
Forest were beaten by treble-winners Manchester City last time out, and drew with Burnley in the game prior, but in the match before that they secured their best result of the campaign thus far as they came away from Stamford Bridge with three points after beating Chelsea 1-0.
As for the Bees, Thomas Frank’s side are now four English top flight games without a victory, with their sole league win of the season coming against 10-man Fulham in gameweek two.
They’ve suffered two successive defeats, and were comfortably beaten 3-1 by relegation-battlers Everton last time out, in what will be considered their worst result of the campaign so far.
