Jadon Sancho and Erik Ten Hag’s drama has been the talk of Man Utd football club recently and it may continue as Sancho’s proposed move to the Saudi Pro League failed to materialise on Saudi Arabia’s deadline day.
With Sancho still a Man Utd player it is understood the England winger will work and talk with the coaching staff at Man Utd during the international break. They now hope to get Sancho back to his best and to forget past dramas.
The saga came about on Sunday afternoon as Ten Hag was asked in his pre-match interview against Arsenal as to why Sancho was left out of the squad. Ten Hag replied saying it was down to recent training performances: “On his performance on training we didn’t select him. You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. You can make choices in the front line, so in this game he wasn’t selected.”
That comment clearly upset Sancho as he took to social media to shut down his managers comments: “Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue,” Sancho posted. “I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t get into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair! All I want to do is to play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.”
There’s also been a story during the week that other Man Utd players have been fed up with Sancho and his attitude which will only add fuel to the fire for Sancho’s relationship with the club, manager and players.

Sancho’s future at Man Utd is still unclear but for now he will definitely be at the club until January at least. It’s now up to Sancho to perform for his club and get back to his best.
He’s had a tricky spell at Old Trafford since moving from Borussia Dortmund for £73m in 2021. The winger has only scored 12 goals in 82 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils.
