Everton forward Demarai Gray has seemingly taken a shot at head coach Sean Dyche on Instagram after failing to secure a transfer away from the club on deadline day.
After failing to secure a move away from Goodison Park on deadline day, Demarai Gray has taken to social media to seemingly criticise Everton head coach Sean Dyche.
The winger had been linked with moves to the Turkish Super Lig and the Saudi Pro League earlier in the window and was linked with Fulham on deadline day, however a move failed to materialise.
Clearly upset that he couldn’t secure a move away, Gray took aim at Dyche in an Instagram story.
“Everton fans have always been great with me but it’s so difficult to play for someone who don’t show you respect as a person,” he wrote.

Gray has failed to feature for the Toffees so far this term, with Dyche citing ‘a bit of everything’ as to why he hasn’t been involved.
“It was a bit of everything – his fitness, his fitness to play in the side, the situation around him and all of the noise,” Dyche said after Everton’s 2-2 draw with Sheffield United.
“Hopefully, over the next couple of weeks that will become clear and he will get himself fit as a start point.”
Dyche also confirmed that he expects Gray to remain at Goodison beyond the transfer window, but with Al-Ettifaq still holding a strong interest – a move away may well still be on the cards.
