Callum Hudson-Odoi has ended his 16-year spell with Chelsea by joining Nottingham Forest on transfer deadline day.
With lots of movement this transfer deadline day, Nottingham Forest have made sure to get themselves involved in the action. Last summer they made an incredible number of signings, this summer they’ve been more reserved.
Today they’ve made another new addition to their side. Hudson-Odoi joins the club for £3m, with £5m add-ons, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Hudson-Odoi’s talent is clear for everyone to see. However, he has struggled to break into the Chelsea team for the past couple of seasons. That job wasn’t made any easier by the big spending of Chelsea and the vast number of players that have joined. It seems the sensible thing for Hudson-Odoi to step away from the club he has been at for 16 years and look to build a career elsewhere.
Hudson-Odoi joins Andrey Santos, Anthony Elanga, Nico Domínguez, Gonzalo Montiel, Nuno Tavares, and Chris Wood, who have all stepped foot through the City Ground this summer.
With a couple more players rumoured to be joining Forest before the deadline, their fans could be in for an exciting season in the Premier League.
