Dubois was a huge underdog in the world-title fight in Wroclaw, Poland and he floored Usyk in the fifth round, but it was deemed as a low blow with the Ukrainian given almost four minutes to recover.

Usyk, 36, then went on to win by knockout in the ninth round, but Dubois believes he was robbed and said: “this wrong needs to be corrected”.

“This needs to go further, it needs to be pushed,” the 25-year-old said post-fight.

“I should be a world champion right now. It wasn’t justice.

“It needs to be called out and go further than living this lie. They just cheated out there.”

“I definitely want a rematch – get justice, get a rematch, get something to happen,” Daniel Dubois added.

Dubois’ promoter Frank Warren said it was a “complete home decision”, as Usyk went on to retain his titles and keep his unbeaten run in tact.

The fight took place in Wroclaw, Poland which was virtually a home fight for Usyk as a third of the 40,000 in attendance travelled from Ukraine for the contest.

The Londoner is said to have been working on the body shot for weeks, and it appeared to hit Usyk on the belt line, but the Ukrainian fell to the ground appearing to fake a low-blow injury.

However after almost five minutes had passed, they continued the fight and in the end Usyk regained control of the fight and the referee stopped the fight in the ninth round following another knockdown.
