West Ham are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United striker, Anthony Martial, as the Frenchman has fallen out-of-favour at Old Trafford.

The Hammers have been one of the talking points of the summer window, from the Declan Rice transfer saga to the host of possible additions.

Harry Maguire has been linked with the club over recent days, with both clubs agreeing a £30m fee and the English defender is now agreeing personal terms with the east London side.

The 30-year-old centre back is not the only player from Erik ten Hag’s side that could be on his way to the London Stadium, as French striker Anthony Martial is reportedly a target for David Moyes.

Martial has fallen out-of-favour at Manchester United after the signing of Rasmus Hojlund and a list of injuries keeping him out of all pre-season action.

Moyes will face host of competition to land the Frenchman, as according to reports, three clubs are interested in landing Martial’s signature.

The former Monaco forward has made 298 appearances for Manchester United, after signing for £50m in 2015 and has contributed to 141 goals so far.

After stunning the Old Trafford faithful with a superb solo effort against Liverpool on debut, Martial was expected to achieve great things in Manchester.

However, after a host of injuries the striker failed to meet these lofty standards and in January 2022, he signed for Sevilla on loan.

During his time in Spain the Frenchman failed to re-ignite his career and contributed with two goals – meaning the La Liga side were unwilling to make the switch permanent.

The 27-year-old is under contract until 2025 and could cost up to £20m, as clubs will be wary of the repeated injury concerns that have plagued his career.
