Nottingham Forest were tipped by many for Premier League relegation last term, but after finishing four points clear of the drop – the Reds are set for a second successive season in the English top flight under Steve Cooper.
The Welshman unexpectedly led them to Championship play-off glory two seasons back, and after reportedly being close to losing his job during the last campaign, he remains at the helm at the City Ground.
Forest have been incredibly active in the transfer market since being promoted and that hasn’t stopped this summer.
Anthony Elanga, Ola Aina and Matt Turner are the notable arrivals thus far, although the Midlands club remain heavily linked with a permanent move for Dean Henderson.
It won’t be an easy campaign for Steve Cooper and his men, and they face a tough trip to the capital in their opener as they face off against last season’s runners-up Arsenal.
