Everton are reportedly interested in signing West Ham star, Michail Antonio, after the Jamaican’s move to Saudi Arabia failed to materialise.

The Toffee’s are reportedly planning their second signing of the summer, with Sean Dyche being a big fan of the West Ham striker.

Everton signed Arnaut Danjuma from Spurs on a loan-with-option-to-buy and are keen to partner the Dutchman up with an additional forward – following a disappointment season.

Frank Lampard held the reigns in Merseyside for the opening weeks of the 2022-23 campaign, after keeping Everton in the Premier League during the season prior – however the Brit was relieved of his duties in January.

Winning just once in 11 matches, the former Chelsea manager was in  a relegation battle and Sean Dyche was appointed to keep the club in England’s top-flight.

On the final day of the campaign, Dyche’s side narrowly defeated Bournemouth, securing their survival and giving them a huge boost this summer.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has faced repeated issues with injury, meaning the club are keen to sign Antonio after the Jamaican’s proposed move to Saudi Arabia has ‘fallen through.’

Making 276 appearances for the Hammers, contributing to 118 goals, the 33-year-old has established himself as a key member in the West Ham squad.

Antonio played a huge part in the Hammers run in the Europa Conference League, scoring six goals and guiding his side to European glory.

David Moyes will be looking to strengthen his side after winning the Europa Conference League, which will see the side from east London compete in the Europa League next season.

European form was not an issue for the Scottish manager, as his side remained unbeaten during their run to the trophy. However, Premier League performances were far from this and finishing 15th may cause some concern for West Ham supporters.

With only a year left on his current deal in east London, Antonio could cost the Toffee’s up to £10m and would see yet another player leave the club this summer.
