Fulham have reportedly agreed a £5.5m fee with Wolves for Mexican striker, Raul Jimenez, as Aleksandar Mitrovic edges closer to signing for Al-Hilal.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers striker is set to swap Molineux for Craven Cottage, despite a disappointing campaign in the 2022-23 season.

Fulham have acted swiftly in recent days, as star man, Aleksandar Mitrovic, is set to move to Saudi Arabia after Al-Hilal have made a series of bids for the Serbian international.

A move away from west London had been on the cards after the 28-year-old has reportedly vowed to ‘never play for the club again.’

The Serbian scored 14 goals in England’s top-flight, despite receiving an eight-match ban for a confrontation with a match official.

Jimenez had also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, however, after both clubs agreed a £5.5m the former Porto striker is set to play his football in the capital next season.

Marco Silva will be looking to bolster his side in the summer window, after Fulham finished 10th in the Premier League and shocked supporters with their consistent performances.

The Cottagers have been linked with a variety of names this summer, as Fred, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Calvin Bassey have all been rumoured with a move to Craven Cottage.

Jimenez had been a terrific player for Wolves over recent years, contributing to 59 goals in 135 matches and forming a superb relationship with supporters.

However, after sustaining a horrific head injury against Arsenal in 2020 the Mexican striker has failed to find his form of old and failed to score a single goal in the Premier League.

Both clubs have agreed a deal of £5.5m, as the 32-year-old has one-year remaining on his current deal in Wolverhampton and has confirmed his desire to not sign an extended deal.
