Here is everything you need to know about England Women’s World Cup campaign and who the Lionesses will take on in Group D.

According to football betting sites, England are the second favourites to win the tournament at a price of 9/2, the same price as Spain but trail market leaders USA at 13/5.

The Lionesses are European champions after a triumphant campaign in Euro 2022 last year, so there are high expectations for Sarina Wiegman’s side in Australia.

England have been drawn in Group D alongside Haiti, Denmark and China – with progression to the knockout stages an almost certainty, but never a given.

This Saturday, the Lionesses will begin their World Cup campaign at 10:30am BST against Haiti at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

Stars Beth Mead and Leah Williamson are absent from the squad due to injury but Lucy Bronze and Millie Bright have been included despite their respective issues.
