Thomas Partey looks set to bring his three-year spell at Arsenal to an end after agreeing personal terms with an ‘unnamed’ Saudi Pro League side.

As Declan Rice comes in, one Arsenal mainstay looks set to depart as Thomas Partey has reportedly agreed personal terms with a Saudi Pro League side.

Partey has been linked with a move away from the Emirates for several weeks, and after initial reports claimed that the Ghanaian was looking to remain in Europe, he is now close to making a move to the Middle East.

The report comes from the Sunday Express, who say Partey’s departure will make way for Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, who the Gunners hold a vested interest in.

Liverpool are also heavily interested in Lavia, as the Saints look to gain upwards of £50million in fees for the Belgian’s signature.

If Partey is to depart, he would bring to an end a three-year spell in north London under Mikel Arteta.

Arriving from Atletico Madrid for £45million in 2020, Partey has played a key role in Arteta’s midfield and in Arsenal’s success over the past few years.

Sitting just one appearance shy of 100 for the Gunners, Partey has also chipped in with five goals during his spell with last season’s Premier League runners-up.

And despite not winning a trophy last term, he had a profound impact on the Gunners’ battle with Manchester City for the English top-flight title, helping the club back into the Champions League in the process.
