Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea midfielder, Conor Gallagher, as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg looks set to leave this summer.
The side from north London are set for a huge window after failing to qualify for Europe last season and new manager, Ange Postecoglou, is eyeing-up midfield additions.
James Maddison was the first player to join the ‘new-look’ Spurs side, after the England international signed from Leicester City for around £40m.
His fellow countryman Conor Gallagher could also be on the move this summer and according to reports, the former Palace midfielder has been deemed the perfect replacement for Hojbjerg – who looks likely to depart.
A deal for the 23-year-old could come to fruition this window as Chelsea are keen to offload a host of players and Gallagher has been valued at £50m.

The dynamic midfielder has established himself as a Premier League player over recent seasons, making 99 appearances in England’s top-flight.
However, after a disappointing 2022-23 campaign at Stamford Bridge, where the former Crystal Palace loanee made 45 appearances in all competitions, his future at Chelsea has been surrounded with uncertainty.
During England’s most recent international fixtures, Gallagher opened up about a ‘tough’ season and his determination to stay at his boyhood club.
The Blues ace said: “I love Chelsea, it has been a tough season for me and the whole team so I think we will just be working hard to get us back to where we belong.”
Despite this commitment to stay, new manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen on signing an additional midfielder and has been linked with Brighton superstar, Moises Caicedo.
Meaning Gallagher’s position in the Chelsea side could be under threat and Spurs, who are willing to sell Hojbjerg this summer, could be in for the England international.
Gallagher has two-years remaining on his current deal and is unlikely to extend if the Blues sign further midfielders – giving Spurs the green-light for a reported £50m move.
