His success has not been limited to the United Kingdom as during the 2020-21 season, the seasoned defender donned the Inter Milan strip and clinched the league title in his final year in Italy.

As his career enters its final stage, the former England international joined Aston Villa in 2021 and showed his capability amongst the country’s highest division. Being a key member in the Villains’ impressive spell towards the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Unai Emery turned things around at Villa Park after Steven Gerrard was sacked due to a run of poor results. The former Arsenal manager guided the club to European football for the first time in 13 years.

However, Young was made surplus to requirements after a stellar campaign and Everton are o the cusp of landing the full-back on a free transfer.
