Host Of Premier League Sides Interested In Out-Of-Favour Manchester United Star Harry Maguire

According to UK betting sites, a host of Premier League sides are interested in out-of-favour Manchester United star, Harry Maguire.

As the summer transfer window starts to pick up pace, many Premier League clubs are looking for the best deals to prepare for next season.

One player that has been linked with a move elsewhere is Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire, as the England international has fallen out-of-favour under Erik ten Hag.

The former Leicester City defender signed for the club in August 2019, in a deal that cost the club a record breaking £85m.

However, after Maguire made just 15 appearances in the Premier League, it is clear that he is not part of the Dutchman’s plans. With the United manager opting for a partnership of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez for the majority of the campaign.

A key indicator that the 30-year-old could be leaving the club is his involvement after Martinez’s season-ending injury. As Erik ten Hag used Luke Shaw as a makeshift central defender, instead of playing Maguire in his usual position.

Spurs are said to be the favourites to sign the United ace, as new manager, Ange Postecoglou, looks to turn things around in north London.

James Maddison is the first player to join this ‘new-look’ Spurs side and could be key in persuading his former Foxes teammate to join the club.

Aston Villa are also reportedly keen on signing the want-away defender, as the Villains look to build on what has been a superb campaign.

Unai Emery’s arrival saw the Villains climb the Premier League table and the former Arsenal boss secured a place in the Europa Conference League.

Spurs and Villa are not the only side interested in the United star however, as West Ham are keen on bringing the 30-year-old to the London Stadium this summer.
