Brentford have reportedly reached an agreement with fellow Premier League side Wolves to sign Nathan Collins for a club-record fee of £23million.
Thomas Frank is close to adding another defender to his ranks, as Brentford have now agreed a club-record £23million fee to sign Nathan Collins from Wolves.
The Republic of Ireland international is scheduled to undergo a medical in the coming days in order to finalise the move.
This is according to Sky Sports News, who claim that the Irishman has been a priority for the Bees over the summer.

Collins only joined Wolves from Burnley for £20.5million last summer, but will now move on to his third club in as many years.
He featured 31 times for the Midlands-based club last term, with 26 of those appearances coming in the Premier League.
Already the most expensive Irishman in football history, Collins will break his own record, with Wolves set to make a small profit margin.
They will almost certainly need to secure some defensive reinforcements over the summer, as Max Kilman is also subject to heavy transfer interest.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Wolves have rejected a £30.5million bid from Serie A champions Napoli for their English defender.
It is believed that the club won’t accept anything below £34.35million for the 26-year-old, who is contracted at the Molineux until the summer of 2026.
The defender is also said to be open to renewing terms with the Premier League side, therefore his departure this summer certainly isn’t guaranteed.
