David de Gea could be reunited with Cristiano Ronaldo, as Al-Nassr are reportedly considering making a move for the goalkeeper following the expiry of his Manchester United contract.
Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr are reportedly consdering a move for David de Gea following the expiry of the Spaniard’s Manchester United contract.
The Sun report that the club are considering an offer to tempt the 32-year-old to reunite with ex-Red Devils star Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr earlier in the year.
In the report, it is claimed that De Gea could pocket upwards of £250,000-a-week if he decides agrees to join the Saudi Arabian side.
De Gea has been subject to transfer speculation for several months now, however he could yet sign a contract extension with Manchester United.
But with the number of ex-Premier League stars currently making the Saudi Pro League switch, it wouldn’t be surprising if the goalkeeper followed suit.

Al-Nassr are also nearing an agreement with Inter to sign Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, whilst Hakim Ziyech’s move collapsed at the final hurdle.
Having missed out on a move to Paris Saint-Germain in January, it seems that Ziyech’s luck still hasn’t turned. The Moroccan international is said to have failed his medical with the Saudi side due to a knee problem.
De Gea’s time at United looks to have come to a bitter ending, with many fans calling for the stopper to be replaced following a string of poor performances last season.
Signed from Atletico Madrid in 2011, De Gea has made 545 appearances for the Red Devils, winning the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Europa League, and the Community Shield three times along the way.
