- 2:30pm – Queen Anne Stakes (Group 1) (Class 1) (4yo+) 1m: NATIVE TRAIL @ 5/1 with Paddy Power
Jason Weaver’s first tip on Tuesday at Ascot on Day 1 at Royal Ascot comes in the opening race of the afternoon in the Queen Anne Stakes. The ‘Weaver Shark’ is siding with Native Trial for trainer Charlie Appleby to win at 5/1 odds with the best horse racing betting sites.
He may look the second string on jockey bookings, but do not underestimate how much talent Native Trail has. This is his second start after a wind operation and the straight stiff mile will suit his galloping nature. Expect the Godolphin Boys in Blue to have an opening-race winner.

The second tip for Jason Weaver on Day 1 of Royal Ascot comes in the form of Haatem in the Coventry Stakes.
It would be far too easy to put up the market leaders River Tiber or Asanda as they are too short in the market given everything that can go wrong with two-year-old’s at this meeting.
The three-time raced Haatem never got an the chance to show what he could really do at Epsom as he blew the start, lost many lengths and still finished third. He’s flying under the radar at a massive price for the Richard Hannon team.

Irish raider Buyin Buyin was not too far behind Givemethebeatboys and warrants plenty of respect, coming from a very capable outfit with Seamie Heffernan riding and is ridiculously priced as an each-way shout.

Jason Weaver’s fourth best bet on Day 1 at Royal Ascot comes in the King’s Stand Stakes where he is siding with Manaccan.
The John Ryan-trained 4-year-old has improved each season from handicap races to the top tier. He was unlucky not to start this campaign with a win at Newmarket when trapped in a pocket as the race really got under way but still finished third to Vadream.
Manaccan loves to hear his hoofs rattle, so hopefully the rain stays away. This could be the first flying Frankie Dettori-dismount of his final Royal Ascot.

The Ballydoyle colt produced a career-best run by someway last time when winning the 2,000 Guineas on home soil at the Curragh. Paddington looks nowhere near his ceiling from both a physical and ratings perspective and looked at his strongest right on top of the line when winning. He looks to be getting better with each race.

He was ridden very aggressively last time up on the front end at Musselburgh and did really well to hold on for third place. That form has worked out incredibly well with the winner Wise Eagle then running second to Coltrane in a Group 3 and the runner-up Metier landing the Chester Cup.
The ‘Weaver Shark’ is hopeful that Tom Marquand takes Pleasant Man back from his wide stall position and rides him more patiently. He looks another huge each-way player for champion jumps trainer Paul Nicholls.

Jason Weaver’s penultimate betting tip on Tuesday at Royal Ascot sees him side with an each-way fancy in Checkandchallenge in the Wolferton Stakes.
Has one piece of top level form here was over two furlongs shorter but he can improve for the step up to 10f now. Checkandchallenge has been hitting a flat spot in his races and then powering home and will need to be ridden very cold from his wide-starting position in box 14 now.
They normally go really fast up front in this contest and that will help him get into gear for a power-packed finish.

Jason Weaver’s final tip on Day 1 at Royal Ascot comes in the final race of the day in the shape of Vauban as the betting favourite with the best horse racing betting apps.
Willie Mullins is not just happy dominating the jump scene – he regularly plunders the top prizes on the Flat as well. He has a host of big chances during the week but probably none stronger than Vauban who is a former Triumph Hurdle winner and on his jumps rating of 160 looks thrown in from a perch of just 101 on the Flat.
