Brazilian superstar Neymar is the latest name linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League following reports that Al-Hilal bosses have flown to Paris to meet with the PSG forward’s representatives.

PSG forward Neymar is the latest name reportedly on the Saudi wishlist ahead of the summer transfer window.

CBS are reporting that Al-Hilal bosses have flown to Paris to meet with the Brazilian’s representatives in an attempt to prize him to the Middle East following Lionel Messi‘s snub in favour of a move to Inter Miami.

It is believed that the Ligue 1 champions are eager to part ways with Neymar, with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle being linked with a move in recent months.

However, the Saudis are prepared to offer a monumental wage increase for the 31-year-old, something no club in Europe could get close to offering him.

Al-Hilal were confident in landing Messi with their mouth-watering wage proposal, but after his refusal, they are set to offer terms comparable to those of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s to Neymar – which would see the forward earn upwards of €200million a year.

Claims have been made that the Saudi club would be willing to pay PSG in the region of €45million to secure Neymar’s transfer, whose contract runs until the summer of 2025.

The addition of Neymar would be the latest big name to make the switch to the Middle Eastern league in what looks set to be a major summer investment.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr back in January, whilst current Ballon d’Or holder Karim Benzema joined Al-Ittihad earlier this month, with N’Golo Kante also being tipped to link up with his former France teammate.
