Bad news for UK PlayStation owners as FIFA Points are about to get a 10% increase.
FIFA will lose their license in autumn 2023 to make anymore games in the beloved franchise following a breakdown in negotiations between FIFA and EA Sports. From this upcoming Autumn the game will be renamed to EA Sports FC.
It seems FIFA are making final attempts to gain as much money as possible before the loss of their license is official. They’re exploiting PlayStation owners across the UK by implementing a 10% increase in the cost of FIFA points.
FIFA Points is the game’s currency that can be used to buy FIFA packs which helps gamers build towards their dream squad on a section of the game known as ‘Ultimate Team.’
The FIFA Point price increase won’t be popular with players. https://t.co/i8Bb7yI0CX
