Chelsea striker Kai Havertz has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge to the Bernabeau this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid will be looking extensively at bringing in young talent to replace the current ageing team that it has.

Madrid’s leading striker Karim Benzema is pushing for a move away to Saudi Arabia. He had another glorious season in front of goal, scoring 30 goals in 42 appearances. The French striker will be turning 36 in December.

Benzema would join Arabian side Al lttihad, rivals of Al Nassr. Cristiano Ronaldo made a move to Al Nassr from Manchester United in January.

Reports suggest Benzema has already reached out to Ronaldo to gain some advice on the proposed move.

It is to be believed that Benzema has already been made an attractive offer from Al Nassr, which includes a tax-free two year deal and £86m-per-season.

Havertz struggled to perform in the goals department for Chelsea this season, only netting 7 times in 35 appearances, to implement what a disastrous season it’s been for the London side.

However, the German finisher is only 23 years of age and will only get better with time. A move to La Liga could be beneficial for him, as he’d be coached by one of the world’s best managers in Ancelotti.

Chelsea have been through three managers this season, with a fourth been announced as Mauricio Pochettino for the 2023/24 season, so it’s clear to see why the players have not been able to find any form.

Pochettino is already gaining a new striker, Christopher Nkunku after a pre-contract agreement was made for the recent Bundesliga Golden Boot winner. The Chelsea boss is also eyeing up Juventus star Dusan Vlahovic for £80 million.

In the summer of 202o, Chelsea spent £70m on Havertz and despite scoring the winning goal against Manchester City in the 2021 Champions League final, the German has not been any to make an everlasting impression.

If a move to Real Madrid is not viable, Havertz is still expected to leave the club.
