According to UK betting sites, Spurs are in contention to sign Inter Milan loanee, Romelu Lukaku, as the Belgian looks unlikely to return to his parent club, Chelsea.

The 2022-23 season has been a difficult campaign for Spurs, as they are set to finish outside the top seven for the first time in just under a decade.

Antonio Conte’s departure had a huge impact on the north London side, as his temporary replacement, Cristian Stellini was sacked after only a month at the helm.

Ryan Mason has failed to turn things around since taking over from Stellini and is set to leave the cub at the end of the season.

The interim manager is not the only departure from the club, with club captain, Harry Kane being linked with an imminent move and has attracted interest from Manchester United.

Kane’s exit would make signing a striker striker the priority this summer and according to UK betting sites, Spurs are in the running to sign former Manchester United star, Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgium international has had a whirlwind few seasons, moving from Manchester United to Inter Milan. Where he impressed and earned a move back to the Premier League, joining Chelsea for £90m.

However, his return to England did not go to plan, as the Belgium international scored eight goals in 26 Premier League matches.

This caused Lukaku to fall out-of-favour at Stamford Bridge and he returned to Inter on loan in an attempt to reignite the Belgian’s old form.

Contributing to 19 goals in 34 matches in all competitions, the 2022-23 season has been fairly successful for the Chelsea star.

Spurs are not the only side to show interest in the 30-year-old, as Inter and Atletico Madrid are also keen to bring the Lukaku this summer.
