Six-time recipients Sweden are the odds-on favourites heading into the weekend, with solo artist Loreen already wowing crowds in rehearsals with here song “Tattoo.”
Victory would see the Swedes move level with Ireland as the competition’s all-time record holders on seven wins, and given the eventual winner of Eurovision have always found themselves in the bookmaker’s top two in the first eight days of May according to Oddschecker, it certainly bodes well for the favourites.

An each-way selection is likely to secure a return of some kind given they are as short as 4/11 to finish in the top three, and Käärijä’s song “Cha Cha Cha” impressed fans in the first semi-final which has left the Finnish hoping for only their second ever Eurovision win.

Eurovision Tips and Predictions
It would be easy to side with Sweden given their leading claims, and given the fact that the favourites typically go on to win the competition, it would appear somewhat of a foregone conclusion.
With that in mind, we prefer to look further down the list in the hope of selecting a big value nation at an each-way price, and Israel could be exactly what we are looking for.
Noa Kirel’s song “Unicorn” saw the nation cruise through the first semi-final, and have moved from 30/1 all the way down to 14/1 in the lead up to the competition.
Public betting for Israel has supposedly increased considerably since their appearance in midweek and sit in third place on the Eurovision poll – they are worth taking a chance on as an each-way selection.
