West Ham have joined a host of clubs interested in Arsenal star, Reiss Nelson, with the 24-year-old’s contract expiring in the summer.

The Hammers have had an up-and-down season, being in and amongst the relegation zone for the majority of the season. However, after a run of victories, relegation is now a distant memory as they climb the Premier League table.

David Moyes’ side have also found joy in Europe, as they face AZ Alkmaar in tonight’s Europa Conference League quarter final.

However, with star man Declan Rice set to leave at the end of the season, the side from east London are looking to bolster their squad for next season.

One player that is reportedly high on the club’s wishlist is Arsenal star, Reiss Nelson. The Englishman has failed to cement a place in Mikel Arteta’s starting lineup and looks set to move on at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old’s current deal in north London runs out at the end of the season and has attracted interest from both West Ham and Brighton.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side are flying this season, as they look on track to qualify for Europa League football for the first time in the club’s history.

Nelson has missed 13 league fixtures through injury and is yet to play a full 90 minutes, sparking rumours of a move away from his boyhood club.

A deal should be simple to complete with his contract coming to an end and with reports indicating that both Brighton and West Ham are interested, it’s likely that he will be on the move this summer.

Should West Ham claim European glory then that will confirm their place in the Europa League next season and may convince the Arsenal winger to sign.
