Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen star, Moussa Diaby, despite the Frenchman being linked with a move to Arsenal.
The Magpies are having a superb season under Eddie Howe, as they sit third in the Premier League table. Victories over, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have established the club as one of the best in the division.
With Champions League football being likely to return to St James Park, the Toon will be looking to strengthen their squad for next season.
A host of players have been linked with a move to Tyneside, with James Maddison, Raphinha and Scott McTominay all being rumoured to join in the summer.
However, one player that has emerged as possible addition is Bundesliga star, Moussa Diaby, who has attracted interest from a variety of clubs with his performances this season.

The Frenchman has made 43 appearances this season, scoring 14 goals in a stellar display so far. Diaby’s speed, dribbling and tenacity has made him a priority signing for a list of Europe’s top sides.
The 23-year-old was reportedly a target for the Gunners last summer, however a fee could not be agreed and he stayed in Germany for another year.
Newcastle will have to act fast if they want to finalise a deal, with PSG also monitoring the France international’s situation.
The Ligue 1 side are set to have a huge offload in the summer, with Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. both being linked with a move away from the Parisian side.
Messi was suspended following an unauthorised absence from training and now looks certain to leave in the coming transfer window. The Argentine’s exit could see the club swoop in for Diaby, as they look to bolster their squad for next season.
