Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City marksman, Erling Haaland, with Los Blancos ready to make a move for the Norwegian in 2024.

Since joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund at the start of the season, Haaland has achieved a record breaking numbers. The 22-year-old has scored 35 goals in the Premier League, breaking the 38 game record and also the older, 42 game record.

His output this season has stunned the footballing world, as he is on his way to winning his first league title and also guide City to Champions League glory for the first time in the club’s history.

Pep Guardiola’s side will face Real Madrid in tonight’s UCL semi-final opening leg, where the winner across both matches will face either, AC Milan or Inter in the eagerly awaited final.

However, it is their semi-final opponents that are reportedly interested in the Norway international, as Madrid look to land Haaland’s signature in 2024.

Los Blancos are having a troubling time in La Liga, as they sit third in the table – dropping below their rivals, Atletico Madrid, with a 2-0 defeat to Real Sociedad last Tuesday.

However, Carlo Ancelotti’s side have performed superbly in the exterior competitions, winning the Copa del Ray with a 2-1 victory over Osasuna.

The Spanish giants are also on the hunt for a 14th UCL trophy, which would further cement their status as Europe’s most prestigious club.

A move for Haaland could be the key in reclaiming their La Liga throne however, as Karim Benzema’s deal comes to a close and the 35-year-old may not be in the club’s future plans.

The Manchester City striker is not the only wonder kid that Madrid are after, as reports show that Jude Bellingham could be on his way to the Spanish Capital.

We could see a reunion between the pair, as they formed a frightening partnership during their time at Dortmund, which Madrid will be keen to recreate.
