Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa star, Alex Moreno, despite the Spaniard moving to the Villains in January.

Manchester City are on the cusp of their third consecutive Premier League title and may even complete the prestigous treble.

Sitting top of the table, the Cityzens are a week away from their Champions League semi final clash against, Real Madrid – City are on track for a record breaking season.

Los Blancos ran through their previous English counterparts, Chelsea, with a 4-o aggregate victory and are looking for their 14th UCL title.

Erling Haaland has followed the ‘record-breaking’  theme, as he becomes the first Premier League player to score 35 goals in a single season.

However, the club are already looking ahead to next season, as they prepare to strengthen their squad for next season. With reports linking them to a variety of talent, with the likes of Jude Bellingham being linked with a move to Manchester.

Another player that is said to be admired by City, is recent Aston Villa signing, Alex Moreno. The Spaniard has been a revelation under Unai Emery, helping his side in a run that included five straight victories.

However, these performances have caught the eye, with Guardiola reportedly keen on adding an attacking full-back to his side, following Joao Cancelo’s loan move.

Moreno has made 16 appearances for Villa this season, contributing with three assists and has replaced Frenchman, Lucas Digne, as the starting left back.

A deal to sign the 29-year-old may be tough to agree, as the Villains only signed Moreno in January. His deal at the club still has several years before it expires, which may increase the asking price.
