Mikel Arteta has reportedly made a ‘six player’ wish list for the summer window, with Declan Rice and Wilfried Zaha being among the options.

Summer signings have been pivotal for the Gunners this season, as Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus have helped them through their first title race in almost two decades.

Arsenal sit second in the Premier League, after they were replaced at the top of the table by Manchester City. The Gunners had been first for the majority of the season but draws against, Liverpool and West Ham, has hindered Arteta’s side.

However, with the club competing in the Champions League next season, the Spanish manager has created a summer wish list, to help bolster their squad next year.

Among this list, is West Ham captain, Declan Rice, who looks set to leave the Hammers after their poor spell in the Premier League.

The England international could cost the Gunners up to £100m and has also attracted interest from, Man City, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Arsenal are also interested in Crystal Palace star, Wilfried Zaha, who has faced a torrid time with injuries this season. The Ivorian was linked with a move away last summer and could finally come to fruition due to a ‘rocky’ relationship with Roy Hodgson.

Zaha has scored seven league goals in 25 appearances, with an injury against Leicester impacting his availability under Hodgson. These injury concerns may be an issue for the Gunners as the Ivory Coast international could cost up to £50m.

Moises Caicedo is reportedly high on Arteta’s dream additions, with the Ecuadorian almost signing back in January. The 21-year-old even posted on Instagram to thank Brighton and to show his desire to move to the capital.

Arsenal supporters will be hoping to sign all of the players on the list, as Marc Guehi, Moussa Diaby and Romeo Lavia have all been superb this year.
