Fulham were the latest team to feel the wrath of a resurgent Jurgen Klopp side, and although they remain some way off reaching their Champions League ambitions, the latest Liverpool top four odds market experienced another boost.

Victory against Fulham on Wednesday night secured a fifth consecutive triumph for Liverpool, who are still eyeing a late push for Champions League football.
In spite of a stuttering season that saw them all the way down in eighth at one stage, they have stretched their current unbeaten streak to seven games, which moves them within four points of fourth-placed Manchester United.
The Red Devils have two games in hand over their eternal rivals, but Jurgen Klopp’s side now find themselves in a relatively comfortable position heading into the final run-in.
Although some way off their main goal, they are five points ahead of Tottenham and Aston Villa, but will be wary of Brighton who can snatch their Europa League spot should they prevail in their three games in hand.

Nevertheless, the Anfield faithful will be enthused by their recent form, but also by the return of several notable squad members. The mercurial Luis Diaz has made an instant impact following a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and a second consecutive start signals his importance to their end-of-season run-in.
However, it was Mohamed Salah who was the eventual match-winner in what remained a potentially problematic result right up until the final whistle. A first-half penalty was enough to hand his side all three points to keep their season on the straight and narrow.
Relegation-threatened Southampton and Leicester will have been identified as must-wins by Klopp, but potential stumbling blocks in the shape of European rivals Aston Villa and Brentford are sprinkled in between.
