According to UK betting sites, Leicester City are amongst a list of clubs interested in Manchester United midfielder, Scott McTominay.
The United midfielder has been a a regular in the Red Devils’ squad, since making his debut under Jose Mourinho in 2017. The Scotland international has made 205 appearances for the red side of Manchester, scoring 19 and assisting five.
However, the 2022-23 campaign has been a difficult season for the 26-year-old, only starting 10 matches in the Premier League and only getting 90 minutes when Casemiro has been unavailable.
Erik ten Hag has seen a large amount of success this season, winning the Carabao Cup and reaching the FA Cup final, where they will face Man City. United’s league form has been positive, as they look set to finish in the top four places.
With the club looking likely to progress over the next few years, McTominay’s time at United may be coming to an end. As Frenkie de Jong, Moises Caicedo and Declan Rice have all been linked with a move to Old Trafford next season.
🚨 Newcastle are moving forward with their pursuit of Scott McTominay.
The 26-year old told Manchester United he wanted to leave this summer if he continued to play very little.

Newcastle have been the favourites to sign the Scotsman, as Eddie Howe’s side continue their fine form this year. The Magpies sit third in the Premier League and are on track to qualify for next season’s Champions League campaign.
However, with the club exceeding expectations, they may be after some ‘higher profile’ names. Howe’s side have been linked with Barcelona star, Raphinha, which shows the club’s intentions to sign some world class players.
Another Premier League side that are reportedly in the running to sign McTominay is Leicester City, who are currently in a nail-biting relegation battle.
The Foxes are in 18th and look set to lose star man, James Maddison, who looks likely to leave the club at the end of the season. Making room for the United midfielder, who would only consider a move if the Foxes avoid relegation.
