Another player that could be on his way to the capital, is Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker. The England international has won four PL titles, four League Cups, and the FA Cup, in what has been a memorable spell.
However, the 2022-23 season has been challenging for the 32-year-old, starting only 15 league matches and missing six through injury.
Chelsea full-back, Reece James, has been ruled out for the rest of the season through injury, adding to the injury concerns he has faced this year.
With these concerns, the Blues may be looking for alternative options and with Walker’s contract coming to an end, he may be a cheaper ‘back up’ option.
The 2021 Champions League winners will face stiff competition in their pursuit, as Serie A giants, AC Milan, are also in the race to land Walker’s signature.
