Manchester United secured passage to the quarter-finals of the Europa League with a 5-1 aggregate victory over Real Betis this evening. Following their win, we’re taking a look at the Man United Europa League odds, with the Red Devils priced at 11/8 to lift the trophy.

Erik ten Hag’s side came into the second-leg of their last-16 tie with a 4-1 advantage over Real Betis.

Marcus Rashford, Antony, Bruno Fernandes and Wout Weghorst all scored as the Red Devils secured a comfortable first-leg win at Old Trafford.

United needed to bounce back from their last league outing in this one, though. Ten Hag’s side were held to a goalless draw at home by Southampton at the weekend, after Casemiro was shown a red card early on in the tie.

It was the Spaniards that started on top in the second-leg however.

Early chances for Joaquin and Juanmi saw the Green-And-Whites go close to opening the scoring and putting pressure on United.

Top-scorer Borja Iglesias didn’t start for Manuel Pellegrini’s side, with first-leg goalscorer Ayoze Perez preferred to lead the line.

Pellegrini was almost rewarded for this selection too, as Perez went close but was denied by David de Gea late in the first-half.

As many would suspect, United came out looking like a totally different side in the second-half.

The Red Devils were on top, consistently creating opportunities and were rewarded in the 56th minute.

It was that man again, Marcus Rashford. The Englishman beautifully hit a thunder strike from around 25 yards to open the scoring in Spain.

Despite their efforts, Betis couldn’t fashion a response, as United ran out as 1-0 winners on the night, and 5-1 winners on aggregate.
