According to UK betting sites Manchester United are favourites to sign Paris Saint-Germain talisman Kylian Mbappe, as Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his squad.

His consistency since he debuted for Monaco in 2015 has been exceptional, making 312 appearances so far in his club career and contributing to 347 goals. His move to PSG was the second highest transfer fee of all time, costing the Parisian side £166m.
The France international’s spell at PSG has been historic over a short period of time, as he is now the club’s leading goalscorer with 201 goals. Hitting this milestone at just 24-years of age highlights the forward’s quality, which is why any transfer for the Frenchman could cost over £200m.

Manchester United have been linked with numerous strikers this season, after Cristiano Ronaldo was removed from the club. Repeated injuries to Anthony Martial has made him an unreliable option and loanee Wout Weghorst has been deemed a ‘temporary addition’.
Signing Mbappe could be the key to making Erik ten Hag’s era at Manchester United successful and end their decade-long wait for the Premier League title. Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen have also been linked with the Red Devils.
