Following the events that boxing fans have just bore witness to in Saudi Arabia, we take a look at the likely opponents for Jake Paul following his defeat to Tommy Fury.

The American, and his victorious opponent, expressed their desire to fulfil the rematch clause in the contract, but no timeline has been given as to when that may happen.

Although he suffered a first defeat of his career against Fury, he proved his worth as a fighter by going the distance and registering a knockdown, only to lose on a narrow points decision.

With a view to the future, Paul has already made a number of enemies across the fighting world after making claims he can sweep aside a number of world champions, but it looks like his next fight will be UFC legend Nate Diaz.

Aside from his boxing endeavours, Paul has also signed a deal with the PFL (Professional Fighters League), and has expressed a desire to face Diaz in a double-header across two different disciplines (boxing and MMA).

Speaking to the MMA Hour, he said on a potential fight with Diaz: “I think that’s next, I think that’s what the fans want and that’s who I want.

“There’s been a lot of talk back and forth, but it’s time to get down to business. Mid-year, maybe some time in the summer.
