Ronaldo appeared on Piers Morgan’s show in November, where he slammed Manchester United for their poor training facilities and took aim at United boss Erik ten Hag.

The interview resulted in Ronaldo’s Red Devils career coming to an end. United quickly released a statement condemning the Portuguese forward’s actions, and subsequently released him from the club.

Since then, Ronaldo’s World Cup dream came to a disastrous end as Portugal were eliminated by Morocco in the round-of-16, and then put pen-to-paper on a contract with Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr.

Jake Paul isn’t fazed by this however, as the YouTube sensation is set for a sit-down interview with Piers Morgan on Thursday ahead of his highly anticipated boxing match against Tommy Fury on Sunday.

The interview will be available to watch on Sky and Sky Glass, or on Virgin Media, Freeview and Freesat, with the chat being shown on Talk TV at 8pm. The programme can also be streamed on Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Samsung TV Plus, YouTube, the Talk.TV website and TalkTV iOS and Android apps.

By judging Piers Morgan’s previous interviews – we’re set for a fiery one. Morgan has interviewed the likes of Kanye West, Rishi Sunak, Andrew Tate and many more, with plenty of hostile exchanges on the show.

Paul himself has had spats with journalists, having previously told a reporter, “I don’t know who the f*** you are,” after being asked if he will lose to Tommy Fury.

The bout will take place in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, and will be available to watch on BT Sport Box Office for £19.95.
