Leicester City attacker Ayoze Perez is nearing a loan move back to Spain with Real Betis, with his contract up this summer.

The Spaniard joined Leicester City from Newcastle United back in 2019. But his time in the Premier League looks like it’s up.

Perez has made 223 Premier League appearances, scoring 45 goals for both Newcastle United and Leicester City.

This season Perez has only featured eight times in the league for Leicester City. This lack of appearances explains why they’re open to letting the attacker leave on loan this window.

Perez’s contract is up this summer and the likelihood of an extension of his contracts looks unlikely at the moment.

The move to Real Betis will provide Perez a chance to earn a contract either at Leicester City or elsewhere.
