Arsenal’s title hopes have taken a slight set-back as Mikel Arteta confirms Thomas Partey will undergo a MRI scan following last night’s FA Cup fixture.

Arteta said: “He had some discomfort and it was getting worse and worse. He was uncomfortable to continue. (Saturday) or the day after he will have an MRI scan and see what he has.”
It is believed to be a rib injury that caused the midfielder to be withdrawn last night and with Mohamed Elneny also being sidelined, the north London side will be looking to strengthen in the remaining days of the transfer window. With the majority of UK bookies pricing Moises Caicedo as a 1/2 favourite to join, after his recent social media posts.
