Crystal Palace have overturned a one goal deficit and to register an impressive 2-1 win over Leeds, courtesy of Odsonne Edouard and Eberechi Eze.

Leeds raced into the lead within ten minutes after a breathtaking solo run from Leeds’ summer signing Brenden Aaronsson, who’s mazy dribble was almost rewarded with a goal had it not been for the post.

Pascal Struijk was on hand to fire in the rebound to give the travelling fans something to cheer early on, while they basked in the glorious Autumn sunshine at Selhurst Park.

However, Michael Olise’s wicked cross was met by Odsonne Edouard little after the 20 minute mark, and the latter’s header into the ground was enough to fool Illan Meslier in the Leeds goal.

Edouard was involved yet again late in the second half, plucking the ball out of the air with supreme control before Tyrick Mitchell found Wilfried Zaha on the edge of the box. The tricky winger proceeded to find Eberechi Eze with a spinning backheel before the English prospect danced his way through a procession of defenders and fired a rasping shot low into the corner.

It moves the Eagles three points clear of the relegation zone and up to 15th in the table – Patrick Vieira’s men are 7/1 to face the drop in current football betting, but a youthful, budding team are a dangerous prospect when seen in full flow, much like today.
