NEWMARKET 3.15

WARMINSTER (system – Ardad 2yo newcomers)

Juvenile progeny of the sire Ardad have a ten from 62 record on their racecourse debuts and backing them blind would have returned a profit of £159.33 to a £1 level stake at SP. Tom Marquand looks a good booking for John Ryan’s WARMINSTER and he’s been nibbled at in the betting.

SALISBURY 3.17

ANGELIC DIVAS (system – Ardad 2yo newcomers)

ANGELIC DIVAS is a qualifier on the same system as Warminster (see Newmarket 1.15) and it’s interesting to note that her dam was also precocious, finishing fourth at 50-1 on her debut before recording a wide-margin 8-1 success at the second time of asking.

HAMILTON 3.47

SHIVRAJ (system – Michael Bell, handicaps, gelded since last run)

Since 2010, Michael Bell has a 26 from 117 record with his newly-gelded handicappers (22.2% strike-rate) for a profit of £71.75 to a £1 level stake at SP. SHIVRAJ wasn’t given a hard time when a 50-1 sixth of 13 at Windsor on his final of three juvenile outings and should do better on his handicap debut.
