The Importance of Royal Ascot Results Today

As Britain’s best Flat horse racing meeting, Royal Ascot results 2024 play their part in creating a memorable gala that celebrates the best of sporting competition. There is an international flavour to this racing in front of the Royal Family which captivates and attracts overseas runners like no other event.

Some of the deepest races run on turf on the level in the entire year happen at this meeting. Results at Royal Ascot today also shape where horses might go in the future. It’s not as though the races themselves are stepping stones, but stern examinations of a thoroughbred’s credentials so that connections can have the confidence to target other events down the line.

The Royal Ascot results in 2021 proved no less dramatic and absorbing than any other year. You can expect that at each and every edition of this magnificent festival of equine excellence. With seven races per day for five consecutive days, the Royal Ascot betting comes thick and fast following the royal procession down the home straight.

Results from Royal Ascot today can tell you whether the favourite ran up to market expectation. With such competitive races taking place, it’s often the case that the market leader simply can’t live up to its billing. There’s no shame in that, though, with all the Royal Ascot results 2024 listed below.

We keep these regularly updated throughout the meeting, so you know once horse racing results become official what has won. That is just part of the service you can expect from SportsLens relating to Royal Ascot racing results today. Check out the winners day by day and race by race right here:

Royal Ascot Results Tuesday

Royal Ascot results on Tuesday include the Queen Anne Stakes

The opening day sees Royal Ascot horse racing results announce themselves with a bang. Tuesday’s card contains three Group 1 races, so it’s the very best level of competition right from the word go. The Royal Ascot race results today you’ll encounter covers everything from sprint contests to long-distance handicaps. Let’s look at each race in turn:

Queen Anne Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Group 1
  • Race Distance: 1 mile (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+

First run in 1840 and renamed after Ascot’s founder Queen Anne in 1930, the traditional curtain-raiser to the royal meeting puts older milers centre stage. The first of 2:30 Royal Ascot results with that start time observed each day has been put on the map by some famous horses.

The roll of honour for the Queen Anne Stakes includes Cape Cross, Kalanisi, Medicean, Canford Cliffs, Frankel, and in recent years Palace Pier and Baaeed. Pay close attention to Royal Ascot race 1 results on the Tuesday as winners often go on to the Sussex Stakes at Goodwood races during the Glorious meeting.

Position Silks Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Sheikh Mohammed Obaid silks  Triple Time (11) Neil Callan Kevin Ryan neck  33/1
2nd Cheveley Park Stud Inspiral (6) Frankie Dettori John & Thady Gosden 2½ lengths 11/4
3rd Light Infantry silks new Light Infantry (2) Jamie Spencer David Simcock ¾ of a length 14/1

Despite pulling keen throughout and missing his last intended engagement in the Lockinge, Triple Time sprung a 33/1 shock in the Royal Ascot opener for Yorkshire trainer Kevin Ryan. He fended off the challenge of filly Inspiral to prevail by a neck, while the prominent in the run Light Infantry hung on for third ahead of disappointing 7/4 favourite Modern Games.

Coventry Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Group 2
  • Race Distance: 6 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 2yo only

The first juvenile race among Tuesday Royal Ascot results is the Coventry Stakes. Dating back to 1890, Dante and Mill Reef are some of the most historic winners of this contest. Past Royal Ascot day 1 results here also show the likes of Henrythenavigator, Dawn Approach and Caravaggio among more recent victors of the Coventry.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st River Tiber (6) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) neck 11/8F
2nd Army Ethos (12) Hollie Doyle Archie Watson ¾ of a length 20/1
3rd Bucanero Fuerte (14) Kevin Stott Adrian Murray (IRE) ¾ of a length 16/1
4th Givemethebeatboys (7) Frankie Dettori Jessica Harrington (IRE) a length 7/1

A tenth Coventry Stakes for Irish master trainer Aidan O’Brien saw well-backed favourite River Tiber just hold on from the fast-finishing Army Ethos, who came down the centre of the Ascot home straight. Amo Racing’s Bucanero Fuerte took third with expensive Sales purchase Givemethebeatboys weakening into fourth. Haatem and Bobsleigh took minor honours. Three of the first four home were juveniles from the Emerald Isle.

King’s Stand Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Group 1
  • Race Distance: 5 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo+

To be considered a great sprinter, a thoroughbred racehorse running on turf in Europe must win the King’s Stand Stakes. Results from Royal Ascot today and in the past prove it. There have been 12 dual winners of the King’s Stand over the flying five furlongs in the race’s history. Blue Point is the most recent of those with the event beginning back in 1860.

Of all Royal Ascot results on the Tuesday on the meeting, this is often has the most dramatic outcome. Dayjur, Pivotal, Equiano, Sole Power and Battaash are just some of the modern speedsters who have tasted glory in the King’s Stand Stakes. Later on in the season, winners of go one to the Nuthorpe Stakes at York races during the Ebor Festival.

Position Silks Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Bradsell silks Bradsell (7) Hollie Doyle Archie Watson a length 14/1
2nd Highfield Princess silks Highfield Princess (10) Jason Hart John Quinn 1¾ lengths 7/4F
3rd Annaf silks Annaf (17) Rossa Ryan Mick Appleby ½ a length 50/1
4th Cheveley Park Stud Twilight Calls (16) Ryan Moore Henry Candy a length 20/1

Bradsell justified connections supplementing him at a cost of £35,000 as a rare three-year-old winner of the King’s Stand. He had to survive a stewards enquiry after intimidating favourite Highfield Princess, but last year’s Coventry Stakes scorer kept the race. Annaf, a maiden on turf, ran a mighty race in third with the runner-up 12 months ago, Twilight Calls, in fourth and veteran sprinter Equilateral behind in fifth with the Australian and American sprinters disappointing.

St James’s Palace Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Group 1
  • Race Distance: 1 mile (round)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo colts only

Royal Ascot race 4 results from day 1 of the meeting tell us about one of the most exclusive events in terms of entrant. Only three-year-old colts can contest the St James’s Palace Stakes on the round mile course. It is Ascot’s equivalent of the 2000 Guineas, one of only two Newmarket races today with Classic status.

First run in 1834 when it was a walkover, the St James’s Palace includes Brigadier Gerard, Giant’s Causeway, Rock Of Gibraltar, Shamardal, Mastercraftsman, Frankel and Kingman among its many illustrious winners. Sit up and take notice as Royal Ascot Tuesday results show those successful in this contest clearly go on to great things both on and off the track.

Position Silks Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Michael Tabor silks Paddington (8) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) 3¾ lengths 11/5
2nd Juddmonte silks Chaldean (1) Frankie Dettori Andrew Balding neck 13/8F
3rd Charyn silks Charyn (7) David Egan Roger Varian 1½ length 33/1
4th Isaac Shelby silks Isaac Shelby (3) William Buick Brian Meehan ¾ of a length 8/1

Irish 2000 Guineas hero Paddington continued his remarkable progress and bested the winner of the English equivalent, Chaldean, in real style. A 75th successful Royal Ascot ride for Ryan Moore saw him well on top at the finish after a fast start from the favourite under Frankie Dettori. Charyn went one place better than the Curragh Classic and French Guineas second Isaac Shelby was only fourth. Aidan O’Brien became the winning trainer in Royal Ascot history.

Ascot Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Heritage Handicap
  • Race Distance: 2 miles and 4 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+ rated 0-100 on the Flat

Don’t be surprised if National Hunt racehorses take part in the Ascot Stakes. A long-distance handicap over the Gold Cup distance of two-and-a-half miles, it is one of the most unusual Tuesday Royal Ascot results to look out for. Jumps trainers like Martin Pipe and Willie Mullins saddled plenty of winners of this where stamina is essential.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Ahorsewithnoname (7) William Buick Nicky Henderson 1¾ lengths 7/1
2nd Calling The Wind (13) Billy Loughnane [3] Richard Hughes ¾ of a length 15/2
3rd Tritonic (11) Rossa Ryan Alan King nose 20/1
4th Law Of The Sea (17) David Egan Ian Williams head 8/1
5th Weston (8) Colin Keane Gordon Elliott (IRE) ½ a length 28/1

Being in-foal to Cracksman didn’t stop Ahorsewithnoname from bowing out from her racing career on a high in the Ascot Stakes. Nicky Henderson won this Heritage Handicap for Flat stayers over the Gold Cup trip for a second time, thanks to the mare. Calling The Wind, a standing distance in races like this, chased her home with topweight Tritonic in third. There was no luck in-running for hot favourite and last year’s second, Bring On The Night, whatsoever.

Wolferton Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Listed
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 2 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+

Next up among Royal Ascot day 1 results is the Wolferton Stakes. This was a handicap up until 2018, but now represents an easier alternative to the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes for older horses. Royal Ascot results from 2021 here threw up some subsequent winners, so make sure you follow the form closely. The Wolferton is as competitive as Listed races get.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Royal Champion (12) Jack Mitchell Roger Varian 1¾ lengths 16/1
2nd Bolshoi Ballet (1) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) ¾ of a length 7/1
3rd Buckaroo (10) Oisin Murphy Joseph O’Brien (IRE) neck 3/1F
4th Highland Avenue (2) James Doyle Charlie Appleby 1¾ lengths 18/1

A second Wolferton win for trainer Roger Varian since the race stopped being a handicap saw 16/1 shot Royal Champion best one-time Derby favourite Bolshoi Ballet and the well-backed market leader Buckaroo. This completed an opening day double for owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid. This was also a first Royal Ascot winner for jockey Jack Mitchell.

Copper Horse Handicap Results

  • Class of Race: Class 2 Handicap
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 6 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+ rated 0-105 on the Flat

The last of Royal Ascot Tuesday results is the Copper Horse Handicap, a very recent addition to the programme. This race acts as an unofficial trial for the Ebor Handicap at York, Europe’s richest turf race of that kind. Don’t go looking too far back with the Copper Horse as this long-distance handicap isn’t among yesterday’s Royal Ascot results prior to the past couple of years.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Vauban (7) Ryan Moore Willie Mullins (IRE) 7½ lengths EvsF
2nd Absurde (10) Frankie Dettori Willie Mullins (IRE) short-head 5/1
3rd Cemhaan (3) Pat Cosgrave George Baker 3½ lengths 66/1
4th Chillingham (13) Callum Rodriguez Ed Bethell neck 11/1

Vauban looked very much like a Group horse masquerading as a handicapper by bolting up in the Copper Horse. A very well-backed even-money favourite completed a treble on the day for jockey Ryan Moore and rubber stamped a possible tilt at the Melbourne Cup in Australia later in the year. Trainer Willie Mullins saddled a 1-2 here with Absurde a distant best of the rest, just in front of 66/1 outsider Cemhaan.

Royal Ascot Results Wednesday

Royal Ascot results for Wednesday include the Prince of Wales's Stakes

Things show no sign of slowing down on the second day of the royal meeting. With more juvenile contests, an early St Leger trial and the big middle-distance race of the week on the card, Royal Ascot Wednesday results carry plenty of significance moving forward. Both the straight and round mile courses are in use for wide-open handicaps with big fields too. Here are all the results at Royal Ascot today for Wednesday below:

Queen Mary Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Group 2
  • Race Distance: 5 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 2yo fillies only

Past 14:30 Royal Ascot results from the Queen Mary Stakes for juvenile fillies on day two of the meeting show Sun Chariot as the most famous winner. Owned by King George VI, she landed the Triple Crown the following year. Young transatlantic raiders Lady Aurelia and Campanelle have give the Queen Mary a real international flavour by winning the race in recent years.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st  Crimson Advocate (28) John Velazquez George Weaver (USA) nose 9/1
2nd Relief Rally (18) Tom Marquand William Haggas 2 lengths 5/1
3rd Bright Diamond (17) Clifford Lee Karl Burke 2 lengths 11/4F
4th Juniper Berries (21) Charlie Bishop Eve Johnson Houghton ½ a length 18/1
5th Got To Love A Grey (15) Sam James Karl Burke head 7/1

Crimson Advocate just prevailed from the fast-finishing Relief Rally in a photo in the Queen Mary with the draw clearly favouring the stands’ side. A first Royal Ascot winner for American trainer George Weaver saw his filly put her head down on the line. Bright Diamond, sent off the favourite, was only third ahead of Juniper Berries and Got To Love A Grey.

Kensington Palace Fillies’ Handicap Result

  • Class of Race: Class 2 Handicap
  • Race Distance: 1 mile (round)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+ fillies and mares rated 0-105 on the Flat

Royal Ascot race 2 results from Wednesday are features an event for older fillies and mares. The Kensington Palace Stakes is a handicap for those females perhaps not quite good enough to contest the Duke Of Cambridge earlier on the card. This is a very recent addition to the royal meeting race programme.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Villanova Queen (8) Colin Keane Jessica Harrington (IRE) ½ a length 25/1
2nd Don’t Tell Claire (18) Jack Mitchell Daniel & Claire Kubler head 22/1
3rd Tarrabb (4) William Buick Owen Burrows ½ a length 13/2
4th Adelaise (11) Mikey Sheehy Joseph O’Brien (IRE) short-head 7/1
5th Yerwanthere (10) James McDonald Joseph O’Brien (IRE) short-head 5/1f

A second winner of the week for Jessica Harrington saw 25/1 shot Villanova Queen swoop down the centre of the course and give Irish champion jockey Colin Keane a first-ever Royal Ascot victory. Don’t Tell Claire and Tarrabb chased her home in the Kensington Palace, a typically rough race for a big field handicap. Joseph O’Brien pair Adelaise and Yerwanthere, sent off favourite, took minor honours.

Duke Of Cambridge Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Group 2
  • Race Distance: 1 mile (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+ fillies and mares

One of the chief supporting races on Wednesday, Royal Ascot day 2 results also include the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes for older fillies and mares. Since it was introduced to the meeting in 2004, both Sir Michael Stoute and John Gosden have done well in this straight mile contest. Looking back through horse racing results from Royal Ascot in that time, no filly or mare to date has won this more than once.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Rogue Millennium (7) Danny Tudhope Tom Clover neck 10/1
2nd Random Harvest (8) Saffie Osborne Ed Walker a length 22/1
3rd Prosperous Voyage (5) Frankie Dettori Ralph Beckett 1¾ lengths 100/30CF

The Rogues Gallery syndicate tasted Royal Ascot success with Rogue Millennium back in trip leading home a 1-2 of outsiders for trainer Tom Clover in the Duke Of Cambridge. Random Harvest at an even bigger price was just second and a length clear of ratings topper Prosperous Voyage, one of three co-favourites.

Prince Of Wales’s Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Group 1
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 2 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+

The feature race among Royal Ascot results on Wednesday is the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes. As the only Group 1 on the card, it commemorates the title given to the heir to the throne. First established in 1862 and again in 1968, Hyperion, Brigadier Gerard, Bob Back, Muhtarram, Fantastic Light and Highland Reel are among famous winners.

Open to older horses over a mile-and-a-quarter, those victories go on to either the Eclipse at Sandown Park or the King George back here over further later in the summer. Poet’s Word, Crystal Ocean and Lord North are recent winners of the Prince Of Wales. Any Irish horses coming over may try to follow-up on Tattersalls Gold Cup success at The Curragh here.

Position Silks Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Shadwell Estate silks Mostahdaf (6) Jim Crowley John & Thady Gosden 4 lengths 10/1
2nd Westerberg silks Luxembourg (1) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) ½ a length 2/1F
3rd Godolphin first colours Adayar (3) William Buick Charlie Appleby 2 lengths 100/30

Mostahdaf sprung a surprise on the established middle-distance horses with a 10/1 victory in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes for Shadwell Estates, jockey Jim Crowley and the John and Thady Gosden stable. He surged home, putting four lengths between him and Tattersalls Gold Cup winner Luxembourg. The 2021 Epsom Debry hero Adayar was only third, ahead of My Prospero and Champion Stakes scorer Bay Bridge.

Royal Hunt Cup Results

  • Class of Race: Heritage Handicap
  • Race Distance: 1 mile (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo+

The race with the biggest field among Royal Ascot Wednesday results is invariably the Royal Hunt Cup. A Heritage Handicap over the straight mile, there is a perpetual trophy awarded to the winning horse’s owners. First run in 1843, finding the winner is a tough challenge for anyone giving horse racing tips on the royal meeting. This is because Royal Ascot race 5 results – the traditional slot for the Royal Hunt Cup – have so many with claims competing.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Jimi Hendrix (7) Rossa Ryan Ralph Beckett 2 lengths 22/1
2nd Sonny Liston (22) Ryan Moore Ralph Beckett 2 lengths 25/1
3rd Awaal (29) William Buick Simon & Ed Crisford neck 15/2
4th Aerion Power (21) Harry Davies [3] Sir Michael Stoute neck 40/1
5th Bless Him (20) Jamie Spencer David Simcock ¾ of a length 40/1
6th Ouzo (27) Saffie Osborne Jamie Osborne neck 33/1

A Ralph Beckett 1-2 saw Jimi Hendrix lead home owner-stable companion Sonny Liston with the Chelsea Thoroughbreds pair split the width of the Ascot track in the Royal Hunt Cup. Awaal was third, ahead of outsiders Aerion Power and Bless Him in this 30-runner Heritage Handicap.

Queen’s Vase Results

  • Class of Race: Group 2
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 6 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo only

Here’s what most Royal Ascot results from day 2 don’t tell you. The Queen’s Vase is an early summer trial for the St Leger in the autumn. Although only open to three-year-olds, it can also be a source of future Gold Cup winners. Dating back to 1838, Le Moss, Mahler, Estimate and Stradivarius are some of the staying greats to have taken this and gone to great things. Pay attention to racing results from Royal Ascot like the Queen’s Vase with the future in mind.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Gregory (8) Frankie Dettori John & Thady Gosden 1½ lengths EvsF
2nd Saint George (4) Oisin Murphy Andrew Balding 3¾ lengths 10/1
3rd Chesspiece (7) James Doyle Simon & Ed Crisford 1¼ lengths 11/2
4th Circle Of Fire (5) Richard Kingscote Sir Michael Stoute 2¼ lengths 8/1

Frankie Dettori finally had his Royal Ascot winner during his final year in the saddle as well-backed even-money favourite Gregory underlined his St Leger credentials with a front-running success in the Queen’s Vase. The pair turned away the challenge of Saint George with the front two clear of Chesspiece in third. Gregory’s Group 2 victory on just his third career start completed a big-race double for the John and Thady Gosden stable.

  • Class of Race: Listed
  • Race Distance: 5 furlongs (straight)

Norfolk Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Group 2
  • Race Distance: 5 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 2yo only

Dating back to 1843, the Norfolk Stakes had a famous dead heat in 1947. This juvenile sprint contest was won by Dutch Art and No Nay Never in more recent years with both going on to have successful careers at stud. That highlights the impact that 14.30 Royal Ascot results from Gold Cup day can have on the sport.

1st Valiant Force (5) Rossa Ryan Adrian Murray (IRE) 1¼ lengths 150/1
2nd Malc (6) Oisin Orr Richard Fahey ½ a length 66/1
3rd Elite Status (4) Clifford Lee Karl Burke ¾ of a length 7/4F
4th His Majesty (16) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) 1½ lengths 11/2

Valiant Force defied a rank outsider’s odds of 150/1 to land the Norfolk Stakes for Amo Racing and Irish trainer Adrian Murray, making most of the running under jockey Rossa Ryan. Fellow “roughie” Malc chased him home at 66/1 with uneasy favourite Elite Status only third and low draws favoured. His Majesty was best of those drawn on the stands’ side in fourth for Ryan Moore, Aidan O’Brien and Coolmore.

King George V Stakes Result

  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 4 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo only rated 0-105 on the Flat

3rd Bertinelli (16) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) 1¾ lengths 6/1
4th Cloudbreaker (22) Kieran Shoemark Charlie Fellowes 2¾ lengths 22/1

Irish raiders Valiant King and Bertinelli, under topweight, hit the frame with Cloudbreaker behind them in fourth.

Ribblesdale Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Group 2
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 4 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo fillies only

The Royal Ascot results on Thursday also contain a race that is essentially the equivalent of the Epsom Oaks in the Ribblesdale Stakes. For more than a century now, three-year-old fillies have been tackling a mile-and-a-half of the Berkshire track. John Gosden’s grey Coronet is one of the most famous recent winners of the Ribblesdale after enjoying success as a mare in France later on in her career.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Warm Heart (16) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) 2½ lengths 13/2
2nd Lumiere Rock (8) James McDonald Joseph O’Brien (IRE) 1¼ lengths 14/1
3rd Bluestocking (7) Frankie Dettori Ralph Beckett nose 9/2

Newbury winner Warm Heart followed-up and confirmed form with Bluestocking in the Ribblesdale Stakes. This was a fourth winner of the meeting for jockey Ryan Moore, with fellow Irish raider Lumiere Rock splitting the pair. Hot favourite Al Asifah didn’t appear to get the 1m 4f trip but was slowly away and forced to race wide into the home straight.

Ascot Gold Cup Result

  • Class of Race: Group 1
  • Race Distance: 2 mile and 4 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+

Let’s face it, Thursday Royal Ascot results don’t come any bigger than the Gold Cup itself. Established in 1807, the very best Flat thoroughbred stayers in Europe compete for this Group 1 feature contest. From St. Simon to Solario, Sagaro, Le Moss and Andross, the heritage is very deep here. Experts always focus Royal Ascot tips on this centrepiece race.

Double Trigger and Kayf Tara are more modern popular winners of the Gold Cup, but its recent history has been dominated by two more staying greats in Yeats and Stradivarius. Royal Ascot day 3 results will show a superstar stayer coming away with this prestigious and valuable prize, that’s for sure.

Position Horse (Stall) Silks Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Courage Mon Ami (9) Gregory Courage Mon Ami silks Frankie Dettori John & Thady Gosden ¾ of a length 15/2

3rd Subjectivist (11) Subjectivist silks Joe Fanning Charlie Johnston head 9/2
4th Emily Dickinson (3) Sue Magnier silks Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) 4 lengths 11/1

Despite just three previous career starts, the feature Ascot Gold Cup went to the unexposed Courage Mon Ami, ridden by Frankie Dettori who hangs up his saddle at the end of 2023 for the Gosden stable. He stayed on powerfully, just besting last season’s Ascot Stakes winner and favourite Coltrane. The front two pulled clear of the 2021 scorer, Subjectivist, who ran a mighty race in defeat given injury problems.

Britannia Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Heritage Handicap
  • Race Distance: 1 mile (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo colts and geldings only rated 0-105 on the Flat

Like the Royal Hunt Cup on the Wednesday, to Royal Ascot Thursday results when it comes to the Britannia Stakes. A Heritage Handicap but restricted to three-year-old colts and geldings, this race dates back almost 100 years to 1928. The Royal Ascot 5pm results here are also hotly competitive.

4th Thunder Ball (11) Billy Loughnane [3] Paul & Oliver Cole head 66/1
5th Tempered Soul (4) Oisin Murphy George Boughey 2½ lengths 66/1

Docklands gave jockey Hayley Turner a fourth Royal Ascot winner on the stands’ rail in the Britannia for trainer Harry Eustace, justifying favouritism and just getting up to best 22/1 chance New Endeavour on the other site of the home straight. They were home in front of three outsiders Urban Sprawl, Thunder Ball and Tempered Soul with a nose and a head between them.

Hampton Court Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Group 3
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 2 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo only

Three-year-olds are next up in Royal Ascot day 3 results with the Hampton Court Stakes over a mile-and-a-quarter. Group 1 and 2 winners can’t contest the race, so it gives others on an upward curve the chance to shine. Godolphin’s globetrotting duo Hawkbill and Benbatl are both famous winners listed in past Royal Ascot race 6 results from the Gold Cup card.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Waipiro (7) Tom Marquand Ed Walker 2¼ lengths 7/1
2nd Exoplanet (11) David Egan Roger Varian ½ a length 12/1
3rd Bold Act (12) William Buick Charlie Appleby short-head 16/1

Tom Marquand went in again with Waipiro landing the Hampton Court, giving trainer Ed Walker a second Royal Ascot victory of his career. The Epsom Derby sixth dropped down in trip and shot clear of Exoplanet with a clutch of horses in a heap filling third to seventh. Godolphin’s Bold Act made the frame, ahead of Torito and Canberra.

Buckingham Palace Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Class 2 Handicap
  • Race Distance: 7 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo+ rated 0-105 on the Flat

Rounding off day 3 Royal Ascot racing results today is the Buckingham Palace Stakes, a seven-furlong handicap that returned to the programme in 2020. First established in 2022, it was cut after 2014 in a much-maligned move. The exploits of recent winner Highfield Princess have helped raised the profile of this event and justify its reintroduction at the royal meeting.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Witch Hunter (24) Jamie Spencer Richard Hannon ¾ of a length 50/1
2nd Croupier (23) William Buick Simon & Ed Crisford ½ a length 7/1
3rd Northern Express (12) Paul Mulrennan Michael Dods 1½ lengths 16/1
4th Spangled Mac (21) Daniel Muscutt George Boughey nose 25/1
5th Spanish Star (22) David Probert Patrick Chamings neck 28/1

After a five-year wait since his last Royal Ascot victory, a textbook late swoop from Jamie Spencer on second-topweight Witch Hunter saw the 50/1 outsider surge past the favourite Croupier from a high draw to land the Buckingham Palace for Richard Hannon. Yorkshire runner Northern Express was third in front of another high-drawn duo Spangled Mac and Spanish Star as the field split into four groups across the width of the home straight.

Royal Ascot Results Friday

Royal Ascot results from Friday feature the Commonwealth Cup

One thing observant readers will notice that Royal Ascot day 4 results largely concern three-year-olds. The penultimate card from the meeting does have a juvenile race and an open handicap too, but it’s mainly about horses in their Classic year. These are today’s Royal Ascot results from the Friday fixture in full:

Albany Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Group 3
  • Race Distance: 6 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 2yo fillies only

First run in 2002, the Albany Stakes is a juvenile fillies race listed under Royal Ascot 2:30 results on the penultimate day. Samitar, Cursory Glance and Brave Anna are all subsequent Group 1 victors to have won this contest. The Albany often attracts a big field with many connections hopeful their fillies can deliver.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Porta Fortuna (8)  Frankie Dettori Donnacha O’Brien (IRE) a length 5/1
2nd Matrika (1) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) a length 9/1
3rd Soprano (16) William Buick George Boughey 1½ lengths 13/2
4th Persian Dreamer (13) Kevin Stott Dominic Ffrench Davis nose 20/1

Porta Fortuna gave Frankie Dettori an 80th Royal Ascot winner and a first for young trainer Donnacha O’Brien, holding off father Aidan’s filly Matrika, who played up on her way to the start, by a length. Soprano was best of the British runners drawn on the wrong side in third, ahead of Amo Racing’s Persian Dreamer and Pretty Crystal.

Commonwealth Cup Result

  • Class of Race: Group 1
  • Race Distance: 6 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo colts and fillies only

The newest Group 1 of the meeting, you will find the Commonwealth Cup among Royal Ascot results on Friday. Initially open to all three-year-olds when inaugurated in 2015, it became closed to geldings. This six-furlong sprint is a big race to take in en route to the July Cup at Newmarket.

If Commonwealth Cup winners remain in training, then they can come back to the royal meeting and run in the Platinum / Diamond Jubilee Stakes the following year. It is worth following Royal Ascot horse racing results like this for events later on in the season such as the Sprint Cup at Haydock Park races or the Champions Sprint Stakes over this same course and distance and open to older horses in the autumn.

Position Silks Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Shaquille silks Shaquille (4) Oisin Murphy Julie Camacho 1¼ lengths 9/1
2nd Derrick Smith Little Big Bear (2) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) ¾ of a length  10/11F
3rd Swingalong silks Swingalong (7) Clifford Lee Karl Burke head 66/1

Despite falling out of the stalls, Shaquille stunned odds-on favourite Little Big Bear overcoming a 13lb deficit on official ratings and his terrible start to land the Commonwealth Cup going away under jockey Oisin Murphy. This was a first Royal Ascot victory for trainer Julie Camacho with rank outsider Swingalong third for another Yorkshire handler in Karl Burke. Both Sakheer and Lezoo, who were drifters and steamers in the betting, failed to fire.

Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Class 2 Handicap
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 4 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo+ rated 0-105 on the Flat

Renamed in 1999 after the Queen’s consort, the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh,  the 15.40 Royal Ascot results for Friday feature this open mile-and-a-half handicap. This race has produced a subsequent winner of the Deutsches St Leger in Germany. Sir Michael Stoute, Hughie Morrison and Mark Johnston are all trainers to have had multiple successes in this event.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Okita Soushi (9) Ryan Moore Joseph O’Brien (IRE) neck 9/1

3rd Live Your Dream (18) Danny Tudhope Saeed bin Suroor ¾ of a length 11/1
4th Ajero (16) Jim Crowley Kim Bailey neck 20/1

Last year’s Copper Horse third Okita Soushi went two places better down a couple of furlongs in trip and 2lb in the weights in the Duke Of Edinburgh for Ryan Moore and Joseph O’Brien. The trainer joined brother Donnacha and dad Aidan as enjoying a Royal Ascot winner in 2023. Okita Soushi outstayed HMS President with those two clear of Live Your Dream, who made most of the running, and Ajero in fourth.

Coronation Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Group 1
  • Race Distance: 1 mile (round)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo fillies only

The Coronation Stakes for three-year-olds fillies can be found as the 4.20 Royal Ascot results from the penultimate day of the meeting. Established in 1840, Sky Lantern and Alpha Centauri are some of the great modern winners of this round mile contest. French fillies also have a good recent record in the race, reflecting the international appeal of Royal Ascot.

Enjoying Group 1 status since 1988, the Coronation Stakes is the next logical step for winners of the English, French or Irish 1000 Guineas ahead of other summer tests. Royal Ascot day 4 results here can impact the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket or Nassau Stakes during Glorious Goodwood if fillies step up in trip. For those with overseas ambitions, the Prix Rothschild in France and Matron Stakes in Ireland are options down the line.

Position Silks Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Aga Khan silks Tahiyra (3) Chris Hayes Dermot Weld (IRE) a length 8/13F
2nd Remarquee silks Remarquee (2) Rob Hornby Ralph Beckett head 25/1
3rd Sounds Of Heaven silks Sounds Of Heaven (5) Ronan Whelan Jessica Harrington (IRE) a length 16/1

Tahirya survived a stewards’ enquiry to give trainer Dermot Weld a second Coronation Stakes 45 years after his last success in the three-year-old fillies’ Group 1 on the Round mile. The Irish 1000 Guineas heroine and odds-on favourite bested 25/1 outsider Remarquee with York winner Sounds Of Heaven in third.

 Sandringham Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Class 2 Handicap
  • Race Distance: 1 mile (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo fillies only rated 0-105 on the Flat

The Queen’s royal residence and Sandringham estate is honoured by lending its name to a straight mile handicap for three-year-old fillies. Past Royal Ascot Friday results from this event highlight how useful some winners of this are. Red Evie and Timepiece both stayed in training after Sandringham success and landed Group 1s. Persuasive, meanwhile, went to win the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes the same autumn.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Coppice (25) Frankie Dettori John & Thady Gosden a length 6/1JF
2nd Breege (16) Jason Hart John Quinn ¾ of a length 33/1
3rd Balalaika (18) Hayley Turner Rebecca Menzies 2 lengths 66/1
4th Unless (24) Wayne Lordan Aidan O’Brien (IRE) 2½ lengths 14/1
5th Candle Of Hope (20) Harry Davies [3] Richard Hughes neck 50/1

Dettori enjoyed an eighth winner of the Sandringham aboard joint-favourite Coppice as she led home a parade of outsiders on the stands’ side. A full sister to the speedy Calyx, she pulled a length clear of Breege (33/1) with Balalaika (66/1) third. Irish raider Unless and Royal runner Candle Of Hope filled minor places.

King Edward VII Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Group 2
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 4 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo colts and geldings only

Royal Ascot’s equivalent of the Epsom Derby, the King Edward VII Stakes remembers another great patron of the sport. In fact, this was called the Ascot Derby upon its inauguration in 1834. Renamed to its current title in 1926, the King Edward VII is for three-year-old colts and geldings only. It is one of the chief supporting races in Royal Ascot results today from the Friday.

Solario and Nathaniel are famous winners of the King Edward VII. Earlier on in its history, this race was more important for horses’ careers at stud. Sir Michael Stoute has trained seven winners of the King Edward VII, so look out for his name in connection with Royal Ascot Friday results here.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st King Of Steel (6) Kevin Stott Roger Varian 3½ lengths 11/10F
2nd Continuous (3) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) 2½ lengths 9/1
3rd Artistic Star (2) Rob Hornby Ralph Beckett 2 lengths 15/2

King Of Steel proved his Derby second was no fluke by confirming form with those re-opposing from down the field and landing the King Edward for Kevin Stott, Roger Varian and Amo Racing. He surged well clear of French Derby flop and Dante third Continuous with Artistic Star third and Arrest again not handling quick ground.

Palace Of Holyrood House Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Class 2 Handicap
  • Race Distance: 5 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo only rated 0-105 on the Flat

Once the seat of Scottish monarchs, Holyrood Palace or Holyrood House has been a royal residence for centuries. Although that is in Edinburgh and arguably the racecourse at Musselburgh would be a better venue to have a race named after it, this gets the Royal Ascot treatment. This three-year-old sprint handicap was only introduce to the meeting in 2020, so is still establishing itself.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Rhythm N Hooves (25) Hollie Doyle Archie Watson neck 12/1
2nd Kerdos (16) Rossa Ryan Clive Cox 3½ lengths 11/1
3rd Conquistador (17) Andrea Atzeni George Boughey a length 8/1
4th Radio Goo Goo (20) Ben Curtis David Evans ½ a length 10/1
5th Executive Decision (27) Saffie Osborne Jamie Osborne ½ a length 80/1

Rhythm N Hooves gave the Hollie Doyle and Archie Watson combination a second winner of the meeting in the Palace Of Holyrood House Stakes. He hung on by a neck from the fast-finishing Kerdos and well-fancied Conquistador. The front three were ahead of in-form Radio Goo Goo and Executive Decision.

Royal Ascot Results Saturday

Royal Ascot results from Saturday include the Diamond Jubilee Stakes

Racing results from Royal Ascot conclude with the fifth and final day of action. Saturday’s stacked card contains a Group 1 sprint, the longest Flat race in Britain and a King George trial, not to mention a couple of handicaps and two events over the specialist distance of seven furlongs. These are all the Royal Ascot results from day 5:

Chesham Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Listed
  • Race Distance: 7 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 2yo only

The last of the Royal Ascot 14.30 results each year is for the Chesham Stakes. This is a juvenile contest established in 1919, originally as a sprint over five furlongs. It was then upped in distance to six and again to seven in 1996. There are some unique conditions to the Chesham in that sires and/or dams of the runners must’ve won over at least 1,900m (about a mile and 1½ furlongs).

Famous winners of this include Bakharoff, Be My Chief, Churchill and Pinatubo. Royal Ascot Saturday results from the Chesham often give pointers to the end of season Group 1s for juvenile colts like the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket and Verterm Futurity Trophy at Doncaster.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Snellen (13) Gary Carroll Gavin Cromwell (IRE) head 12/1
2nd Pearls And Rubies (7) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) ½ a length 7/4F
3rd= Golden Mind (15) Oisin Orr Richard Fahey dead heat 12/1
3rd= Oddyssey (5) Jim Crowley Patrick Owens ½ a length 125/1

There was a second Royal Ascot winner of his career for Irish trainer Gavin Cromwell when Snellen prevailing by a head from fellow Emerald Isle raider and warm favourite Pearls And Rubies. The winner came up the stands’ side whilst the runner-up was on the opposite side of the wide track. Behind the front two, Golden Mind and big outsider Oddyssey dead-heated for third.

Jersey Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Group 3
  • Race Distance: 7 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo only

Also established in 1919, the Jersey Stakes for three-year-olds tests horses over the specialist distance of seven furlongs. Past Royal Ascot results here include a famous dead-heat in 1994 with notable winners including Indian Ridge, Mozart and Ribchester.

Over the years, this race has helped horses go on to campaign over a mile or drop back in trip for big sprints. Before becoming one of the Royal Ascot day 5 results, this race often readied winners for a tilt at the July Cup with favourable weight for age terms.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Age Of Kings (8) Wayne Lordan Aidan O’Brien (IRE) a length 22/1
2nd Zoology (7) Oisin Murphy James Ferguson neck 22/1
3rd Streets Of Gold (3) Charlie Bishop Eve Johnson Houghton neck 28/1
4th Holloway Boy (2) Clifford Lee Karl Burke head 7/1

A fourth winner of the meeting in 2023 for Aidan O’Brien saw stable second string Age Of Kings score at 22/1 under a prominent ride from Wayne Lordan. Leading home a parade of outsiders, the fancied runners were no better than fourth. Zoology and Streets Of Gold filled the places at big prices with first three in the betting Covey, Olivia Maralda and The Antarctic out of the frame.

Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Group 1
  • Race Distance: 6 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+

On the final day of the meeting, Royal Ascot race 3 results are particularly important. First run in 1868, the feature of  since this last card since the festival was extended to a fifth day is a Group 1 sprint contest open to older horses. The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes as it’s known now was run as the Platinum Jubilee Stakes, Diamond Jubilee Stakes and Golden Jubilee Stakes celebrating milestones throughout the reign of the late monarch. It also used to be open to three-year-olds, but the creation of the Commonwealth Cup meant a change to conditions.

Diadem, Right Boy, Committed, Danehill, Choisir, Starspangledbanner and Black Caviar are just some of the legendary winners of this sprint over six furlongs. In 2019, Blue Point record a famous Royal Ascot double when he followed-up on King’s Stand Stakes success with Diamond Jubilee Stakes glory. Winners can go on to the July Cup, Haydock Sprint Cup and Champions Sprint Stakes here later on in the season.

Position Silks Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Fitri Hay silks Khaadem (2) Jamie Spencer Charlie Hills neck 80/1
2nd Cheveley Park Stud Sacred (3) Tom Marquand William Haggas 1¼ lengths 9/1
3rd Highfield Princess silks Highfield Princess (16) Jason Hart John Quinn 1½ lengths 11/4F
4th Artorius silks Artorius (8) James McDonald Anthony & Sam Freedman (AUS)  1¼ lengths 4/1
5th The Astrologist silks The Astrologist (6) Damian Lane Leon & Troy Corstens (AUS) ¾ of a length 15/2

Rank outsider Khaadem defied odds of 80/1 to become the biggest-priced winner in the long history of this sprint and its various guises under a textbook Jamie Spencer ride for trainer Charlie Hills and owner Fitri Hay. Not content with partnering a 50/1 shot earlier in the meeting, the jockey benefitted from a low draw and got up by a neck to pull off another major shock.

Spencer’s mount, withdrawn for playing up and sitting down the stalls 12 months ago, and William Haggas mare Sacred came home clear of King’s Stand runner-up Highfield Princess on the other side of the track in third with Australian sprinters Artorius and The Astrologist taking minor honours.

Hardwicke Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Group 2
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 4 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+

The Hardwicke Stakes is valuable event in its own right dating way back to 1879 but gives older horses a chance to warm-up for a tilt at the King George run at this venue in July. That’s why you should check Royal Ascot day 5 results on this race in particular. Originally open to three-year-olds, it was closed to them so as not to dilute the field for the King Edward VII Stakes run over the same mile-and-a-half distance.

Ormonde, Sceptre, Corrida and Stanerra are all famous Hardwicke winners to have races named after them. Doyen, Harbinger and Crystal Ocean are more recent big names to have won this race and have their name among big Royal Ascot results as victors. Following Hardwicke form closely can pay off for punters.

Position Silks Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Pyledriver silks Pyledriver (5) PJ McDonald William Muir & Chris Grassick 1¼ lengths 7/2
2nd West Wind Blows silks West Wind Blows (7) Jamie Spencer Simon & Ed Crisford a length 13/2
3rd Westerberg silks Changingoftheguard (1) Ryan Moore Aidan O’Brien (IRE) ½ a length 7/1

Plucky underdog Pyledriver was a Royal Ascot winner for the second time in his career and gave his jockey, PJ McDonald, a first-ever victorious ride at the meeting in the Hardwicke. The pair had to survive a stewards’ inquiry as he lugged onto the far rail in the final furlong, but was ultimately clear of West Wind Blows and last year’s King Edward winner, Changingoftheguard, in third.

Deauville Legend was the hard luck story of the race in fourth with no way through as favourite Free Wind flopped in fifth and Hukum a non-runner on the day. Last season’s King George hero Pyledriver has had his injury problems, so it was an incredible training performance from the William Muir and Chris Grassick stable.

Wokingham Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Heritage Handicap
  • Race Distance: 6 furlongs (straight)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo+ rated 0-110 on the Flat

The last of the big Heritage Handicaps, the Wokingham, is also among the Royal Ascot results on Saturday. Using the same course and distance as the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes, this sprint handicap dates back to 1813. Named after the nearby town, a horse also called Wokingham won the race in consecutive years during the early 1880s. There was a dead heat in 2003 too despite always attracting a large field. Rohaan won this in consecutive years in 2021 and 2022.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Saint Lawrence (30) Hollie Doyle Archie Watson a length 22/1
2nd Apollo One (15) Richard Kingscote P Charalambous & J Clutterbuck neck 11/1
3rd Juan Les Pins (23) Alistair Rawlinson Mick Appleby neck 18/1
4th Mums Tipple (13) Frankie Dettori Richard Hannon ½ a length 11/1
5th Fresh (4) Danny Tudhope James Fanshawe ½ a length 22/1
6th Orazio (29) William Buick Charlie Hills head 7/2F

Hollie Doyle and Archie Watson were at it again, completing a Royal meeting treble with stable debutant Saint Lawrence in the Wokingham Stakes. He defied the wide draw of stall 30 to land this valuable sprint Heritage Handicap by a length from Apollo One and Juan Les Pins. Mums Tipple, Fresh and favourite Orazio finished in the minor money.

Golden Gates Stakes Results

  • Class of Race: Class 2 Handicap
  • Race Distance: 1 mile and 2 furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 3yo only rated 0-105 on the Flat

Penultimate among Royal Ascot Saturday results, the three-year-olds only Golden Gates Stakes is a handicap only recently added to the schedule. A 10-furlong event, this is an alternative for horses in that age bracket to the Hampton Court Stakes earlier in the meeting. The inaugural winner, Highland Chief, went on to be trained in America and land a Grade 1 on turf at Belmont Park.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Burdett Road (9) Neil Callan Michael Bell ¾ of a length 20/1
2nd Lion Of War (17) Oisin Murphy Charlie Johnston 2¾ lengths 9/2CF
3rd Local Dynasty (16) William Buick Charlie Appleby head 9/2CF

Burdett Road made a race-winning move down the middle of the track at the top of the home straight and lasted home in the Golden Gates Stakes Handicap. This was a second victory of the meeting for jockey Neil Callan. Two of the co-favourites, Lion Of War and Local Dynasty, were placed with Have Secret well clear of the remainder in fourth.

Queen Alexandra Stakes Result

  • Class of Race: Class 2 Conditions
  • Race Distance: 2 miles and 5½ furlongs (round)
  • Age of Horses: 4yo+

Last and by no means least, the final Royal Ascot results are for the longest Flat horse race in the British Isles. The Queen Alexandra Stakes, named after the wife of King Edward VII, is a conditions races over a marathon distance of almost two-and-three-quarter miles.

You often see National Hunt racehorses taking part in this extreme stamina test famously won by Brown Jack in six consecutive years (1929-1934). Established back in 1865, the Queen Alexandra is often won by more mature horses as only they develop the endurance required to win this demanding last race of the royal meeting.

Position Horse (Stall) Jockey Trainer Distance SP
1st Dawn Rising (10) Ryan Moore Joseph O’Brien (IRE) ½ a length  2/1F
2nd The Grand Visir (3) Richard Kingscote Ian Williams 2¼ lengths 9/1
3rd Run For Oscar (4) Jim Crowley Charles Byrnes (IRE) ½ a length 3/1

A sixth winner of the meeting for Ryan Moore on Dawn Rising in the Queen Alexandra confirmed him as champion jockey at Royal Ascot for the tenth time. Joseph O’Brien and JP McManus’ horse confirmed Leopardstown form in this final race of the meeting. Dawn Rising, a well-backed 2/1 favourite, turned away the challenge of The Grand Visir, while the unlucky Run For Oscar got up for third. There was no hat-trick here for Willie Mullins veteran Stratum.
