The other half of the quarter-final draw will be decided on Wednesday, and after correctly predicting all three of our selections yesterday to land a 13/1 accumulator, we are back with Wimbledon tips for Day 10.

Wimbledon Tips Day 11

  • Elena Rybakina vs Ons Jabeur: Both to Win a Set @ 6/5
  • Daniil Medvedev vs Christopher Eubanks: Medvedev to Win 3-1 @ 9/4
  • Carlos Alcaraz vs Holger Rune: Both Players to Win a Set @ 4/7

All of our selections can be backed as an accumulator, at odds of 10/1 with Paddy Power.

Wimbledon Tip Day 11 – Rybakina and Jabeur Both to Win a Set

A repeat of last year’s final is the pick of today’s second round of quarter-finals, as two stylistically opposite players meet again on Centre Court.

Elena Rybakina managed to prevail in three sets this time last year, and with world number one Iga Swiatek’s shock exit on Tuesday, she has moved up as the outright favourite to retain her title.

Two-time slam finalist Jabeur is one of only a handful of players on the Tour who has the tools to absorb Rybakina’s near-perfect service game – she holds her serve almost 90% of the time.

Both of these players have only dropped one set each across their four matches, and although we are leaning towards Rybakina to continue her march towards consecutive titles, we have selected a slightly safer option by tipping both to win a set.

Wimbledon Tip Day 11 – Medvedev to Win 3-1

Only Carlos Alcaraz has won more games on the Tour than Daniil Medvedev, and the former US Open winner looks to have found his best game on grass.

He comes up against the defining success story of the tournament so far, with Christopher Eubanks making the final eight on his Wimbledon debut aged 27.

Eubanks will have to rely on his uncanny ability to win on key points – for context, the American is nine-for-two on tiebreaks since winning at Mallorca in his warm-up event, which gives an insight into the nature of his wins.

Medvedev is expected to dominate on his serve as usual, and the heavy favourite should have enough firepower to reach the last four. However, he has looked vulnerable in rallies at points this tournament, which is where Eubanks has excelled – we do think he will manage to snatch a set off Medvedev to send this to four sets.

Wimbledon Tip Day 11 – Alcaraz and Rune Both to Win a Set

The youngest grand slam quarter-final meeting in the Open era sees number one seed Carlos Alcaraz go up against childhood friend Holger Rune.

Alcaraz will take comfort in the fact he dealt with Matteo Berrettini’s Tour-leading serve to great effect, returning on the first without much exertion. That has largely been the story of his tournament so far, prevailing in each round having never really looked like crashing out.

Rune is much more mobile than Berretti however, and after winning his first ever match on grass at Queen’s last month, the Dane has taken to this surface like a duck to water. He has certainly had to battle to keep himself in contention, wining five tiebreaks in four matches including two in the fascinating battle with Grigor Dimitrov.

Alcaraz should get the better of Rune given his credentials up to this point, but expect his opponent to pick up a set of his own as he eyes a first ever grand slam semi-final.
