West Ham United’s midfield maestro, James Ward-Prowse, is singing the praises of teammate and Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus.

Since his arrival from Ajax last summer, Kudus has adapted seamlessly to the Premier League. His teammate, Ward-Prowse, has particularly been impressed with the Ghanian’s swift acclimatisation at West Ham.

The former Southampton skipper believes that Kudus brings an extra dimension to the Hammers. Speaking with Irons Podcast, he expressed his admiration for the 23-year-old’s abilities.

“What amazes me is his strength as well. I think people don’t see it. The amount of times he will take the ball with someone behind him, he will shrug him off and run away. You can’t get near him at times.”

He added, “”He has warmed up nicely, and now I think you are seeing the real, real Kudus. He has put in some good performances.”

Ward-Prowse further emphasises that Kudus will play a pivotal role in the club’s success this season. The England midfielder stated, “He is a game-changer and I think he can make a difference for us. He is a really important player for us.”

Kudus has already notched up an impressive five goals across various competitions for the London-based club. He is now with the Ghana squad as they prepare to continue their World Cup qualification quest with matches against Madagascar and Comoros.

Meanwhile, Ward-Prowse is still with West Ham after being omitted from the England squad by Gareth Southgate.
