Scott McTominay’s goals have resulted in 12 additional Premier League points for Manchester United this season. Watch all the goals here.
He may not be the most popular man at Old Trafford, but Scott McTominay has become a clutch player for the Red Devils this season.
His 86th-minute winner against Aston Villa on Sunday was the latest in a long line of crucial goals from the Scottish midfielder this campaign.
As a result, the academy graduate’s goals have secured 12 additional Premier League points for Erik ten Hag’s side this season, without which they would be languishing in 12th place in the table.
This puts him ahead of the likes of Tottenahm’s Son Heung-min (12 goals, 10 points), Manchester City’s Erling Haaland (16 goals, 8 points) and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah (14 goals, 8 points).

Ten Hag On McTominay
Following McTominay’s latest clutch moment, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was full of praise for the goalscoring midfielder, saying: “You have to credit a player like Scott.
“He is an example for many players these days. There are not many players any more who are ready for every minute they can be on the pitch.
“Today, we have seen another example. He is always ready to come on and make a difference.”
